This was a change in dining for us and was quite good. The food was as expected quite German. I would recommend Paulaner Brauhaus for a break in your diet of Chinese food. We didn't need one just thought we would try one.

The restaurant has kept its pure German flavor, excellent beers and original German foods, heavy and meaty, one has to love it, daily for a German but once per year for a Chinese. Chinese staffs wearing German traditional dresses were friendly.

Went for a business lunch and the food was very good. Large tasty portions of German food. Entertainment was also above par with a band singing a variety of Chinese and American contemporary music.

Enjoyed sitting at a high top table near the door at the Paulaner. It's not an easy place to find, hidden in the back of the store fronts. The beer arrived almost instantly, and yes - it's great, classic German beer. We shared a large...More

Authentic German fare and beer. Good food, great beer and a nice ambience. The outdoor searing was a real bonus. A filling meal of bratwurst, German style potatoes, breads served with spreadable meats, cheese and butter plus a 1 liter hefeweitzen (wheat) beer was approximately...More

Beijing's premier and most popular microbrewery, the Paulaner Bräuhaus, is the place for steins of great beer and hearty Bavarian hospitality. This award-winning restaurant serves traditional Bavarian and German dishes. The restaurant serves classical German dishes like Frankfurter, Thuringian sausages or Pork knuckle, but also has lighter meals like creamy potato or onion soup, or one of our crisp German salads all served in a genuine, spacious Bavarian setting. The expansive beer garden is the perfect place to relax with friends and family, enjoying a hearty meal and a glass of our home-brewed Paulaner beer. Listen to the swinging sounds of our nightly live band or be a guest during our famous Oktoberfest or Maifest. Paulaner Bräuhaus is a popular gathering spot for tourists, locals and foreign residents alike, so come and get a taste of the “Old World” flavor on offer here.
