Quanjude serve up an excellent Beijing duck in elegant dining rooms. It's not cheap. On this occasion I also tried a beef dish and had to return it. The meat was so tough that it was impossible to chew, completely inedible. The restaurant took the...More

We ordered half of the duck, one fried rice, two side dishes and one dessert plus one pot of tea and added up about 430RMB, not super cheap but for the quality and service of the restaurant I would said it is a good experience....More

The original shop has gone through tremendous makeover since the beginning and the first time we visited in the early 2000. Must say the standard of the product has not changed despite the new look and minus the hustle bustle of the Main Street that...More

I loved the duck, but would have appreciated more meat and less fat and skin, which are so sickly! But in china they love the day and skin! We went here with the guide.... it was a fun experience and there were lots of locals!

First meal in Beijing, we had this for dinner. Ordered half a peking duck for two to share and mushroom soup which was filling. Skin was soft and crispy, meat was tender. Mushroom soup was delicious. They even served free duck soup for those who...More

This is the nicest Roast duck I tried in Beijing. The skin and fat just melts in your mouth. Honestly, either than the duck, the rest of the dishes were so-so. Overall, it is pricey to dine at there.

Yes they do take reservations but I feel it’s best to don’t at non peak hours, no queue 😬 I went at 4pm 👍🏻 They sell half a duck too and that’s what I ordered.

I agree, no need for reservations for 8. The entry process is well controlled and we were seated within 20 minutes for a party of 8 just walking in. Well worth the experience.
