The place looks really amazing, it's well design kinda rococo style. It appeals people to go there and try out the restaurant/bar. Perfect place to go at night and have drinks and dinner when visiting.

This restaurant is simply amazing. The food is excellent, it has some specialties that cannot be found in other places like an aubergine filled with meat. It was extremely delicious. The staff is great, the menu is also in English and generally it is a high-class restaurant. That's why it is also quite expensive, but definitely worth it. The design... More

A true fantasy art and dining in one place. The food was very good, but the service was difficult to get unless you shouted for the waiter. The huge restaurant was a rare treat for the eye. The cavernous space was decorated with unique and imaginative taste for decor in walls, floors, ceilings(hand drawn art on ceilings!), as well as... More

If street food and small dives are not your thing -- or when you need a departure from them -- try Lan. The decor is beautiful, with modern Chinese cuisine to match. We especially like the black garlic dusted with cocoa.

Food was ok but order your drinks at least 15 fifteen minutes before you think you'll want it. The waitresses have no concept of time.

The Lan Club has become well known for its baroque/rococo pastiche meets post-modern melange interior. It it indeed an inspired interior for a restaurant/bar, and a worthwhile look for any visitor to Beijing (which is easily accomplished due to its location opposite Silk Street and YongAnli Station below). However, whether you stop by for a gander and a perhaps glass... More

This quite a Unique Restaurant from all of my previous experiences, the decor is flamboyant and the menu is not less subtle. Is really worth to look around while you are there, feels like a museum inside Alice in Wonderland set!! Do not expect to see China in this restaurant......The food was as eccentric as its surrounding but was very... More

The decor is crazy and not in a bad way. I love some of the chairs and benches. Do walk around the place while you wait for your food. The food... I'm giving it 3 stars. Flavors were there. Hubby and I ordered the 3 cup chicken. Very tasty but they only used the middle wings and the ratio of... More

This is an Only in China kind of place - well worth a visit if just to check out the decor. Make sure you wander the whole way through - the bathrooms are mad, the private rooms are beyond. Food is pretty good and beautifully presented. Not bargain basement, but when you consider the surroundings (which reportedly cost RMB300m), you'll... More

A work colleague and I dined on a Saturday night after a long day. This place lives up to its design reputation: Wacky overscale chairs, mirrors everywhere, pictures on the ceiling. The waitstaff is dressed in what looks like little drummer boy outfits. Are you in a restaurant or dreaming? The most bizarre thing about this night was the place... More
