The Java Hurlingham normally has great service and I frequent it because it's in my neighbourhood. However, I wish they could bring back the male supervisor they used to have. He was fantastic and gave a great customer experience. The relatively new male supervisor never...apologised to us when we had a bad food experience a few days ago. He made us feel as if we were lying about the food complaint. He had this passive-aggressive attitude about him that communicated his displeasure about our complaint. As if customers are never meant to voice anything negative. Not going back there soon. I'll just walk across to Art CaféMore

I lack words ,I pity the owner of these java cafes , he/she works hard to build a business, the workers bring it down, with the kind of attitude that is found in java, they will experience a shift, java jkia and the aga khan...ones are the worst, uts like they are confident they are in the midst of an essential service they feel.like they going nowhere, always where java aha khan is, there was there was a restaurant before and there will always be a restaurantMore

I have used Java for as long as they've been operating in Kenya. Always found them good value for money. Today I experienced a hiccup at the Astrol Java in Lenanna Road, Nairobi when I had the roast chicken. I noticed the smell of cooking...oil seemed odd. I continued to eat - rather foolishly in hindsight. A couple of hours later I was unwell with a bad stomach. Unfortunately I realise that the cooking oil was probably old. Shame.....!More

The original Java House location deserves special mention for its consistency over the years and evwr friendly staff. Always willing to customise dishes in the event of allergies and aversions, and with a smile. Against the bland Java experience, this is a rare gem

If you are a fan of coffee, tea, shakes and snacks definitely here it is. They have all sorts of delicious coffee and shakes to choose from. It is great for having a brunch as their sandwiches are too good, offered both in veg and...non-vegMore

This salad is so good. I don't even know where to start. It can pass for a full meal because the portions are huge and it is quite filling. As you can see in the photos, the meal looks sumptuous! Also, the waiter who served...us was really good and I guess that improved our experience!More

We could not imagine that dinner at Java House is so interesting! because we did not expect to have a fancy restaurant in Kenya but it was really nice to experience the real life.

Mbagathi Java I can make better tea in my house honestly. The mint pineapple drink was also watery. Tea and coffee are supposed to be a specialty. My fish fillet had more salad than fish and had a flat taste, wish i did the pork...chops.More

Went to Java at Yaya center and ordered spiced fries with chicken wings. The portion that was served honestly was a rip off. If you are ever there just take dawa because that's the only good thing I enjoyed.

I love most of the restaurants of Java House. But why is it that restaurants in international airports are most manned by arrogant staff with no courtesy at all towards customers? The way we were treated again at Java House JKIA was, to say it...short, impertinent. Avoid it like the plague if you can!More

You probably hit Java house at a bad time. While I agree about the bland, it has always been like that, since the original Java House opened.
