Went with a group of colleagues for dinner--orders ranged from Indian-style cuisine, to burgers and chops and salads. Portions were enormous and and all tasty and well-prepared. Bar serves full range of drinks but a few orders got missed.

Visited recently for a business lunch. It's a great location and the ambience is nice. I enjoyed the food, had the Salmon and it was well prepared. Only the soup was not up to scratch as per the standards you would expect. The service needs some work though, waiters need to pay attention more, my food was brought with the... More

I have frequented the Fairview for several years but now the food is average hotel fair since the once excellent privately owned hotel was bought by the South African hotel group "City Lodge" in 2014, and pricing in all their restaurants has crept up & up - now bordering on the "unreasonably high" side. The hotel is still one of... More

The menu is varied and good cold beer. The pizza at lunch is yummy! The menu could do with bit of variety but is good value.

What a lovely spot! Even as a Gooseberry (solo diner) it was excellent. I was made to feel very welcome and the food was fresh and tasty (chicken wings and Naivasha burger). Kenneth the duty manager went out of his way to accommodate me. Highly recommended. The atmosphere and music really supported the experience. Thank you!

After a long day, it's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lush gardens, the live music, the cozy firepots, and the quiet ambiance. The glistening pool adds to the beauty. Our late afternoon/post swim gin and tonics melted into lovely wines to accompany our meals. Six of us gathered - all ordering differently from the diverse menu, all... More

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Nairobi. Sadly, some of the quality and charm has gone, to be replaced by hard-nosed commercial South African management cost cutting. I used to order their large passion: it was huge, it is not even large any more - it is just a glass. I used to order the Murg... More

A great place for lunch or dinner - live music in the evening makes this a perfect venue to eat alone or with guests.

This was one of my favorites, inviting pool surrounded by lush gardens everywhere. On my first visit which was lunch we had a local cuisine which was adequate. On the second visit I had the grill chicken which was good. On both visits the service was great.

If you plan to have a time to relax and even continue to work, then this is your ideal place to be. With the clean and beautiful swimming pool in the view, there is is true calm that you feel as you look at the water. Service is offered swiftly so no delays at all.
