Few places makes you feel relaxed and at home as Exchange bar. It is as i like turning back the clock and step into a huge living room. And here you don't have to sit many minutes until you are offered service. Drinks are fast...More

This is an excellent meeting point for something cold to drink after a busy day. If you plan to eat - be sure to order before you are too hungry, because it will take some time before the food is served.

Arrived late after a long flight, but knew the food and ambiance would be good. As ever excellent service in a lovely atmosphere, a sort of colonial sophistication. We had a very tasty late supper, my wife had had an excellent fish and I had...More

A unique warm bar, which makes you feel living in the previous centuries, along with today's luxury. Excellent service, attentive and polite staff. Romantic atmosphere with piano music to unwind you. Enjoyable place in the centre of the city.

Children not allowed, what crap. Sad as well, for the food is not that bad. It's just such a waste of space, and gives a cold feeling of outlook. Friendly smiling waitresses, nevertheless.

History comes to life at The Exchange Bar, once the site of Nairobi's first Stock Exchange from 1954. In 1922, The Long Bar,the Stanley's precursor to The Exchange Bar, famously took delivery of the first ever order of Tusker beer from Kenya Breweries. The bar retains the feel of a traditional English Gentleman's club while exuding a casual elegance and warm atmosphere. A perfect place to enjoy a single malt whisky or sensational cocktails accompanied with a variety of bar snacks.
