I have sampled almost all their cakes and they are delicious. They don't skimp on the ingredients which makes for fresh, moist delicious cake. Last time I was there a piece was selling for 350 Ksh. My favourite is the strawberry cake. The place is Halal and ideal for a quiet date or business meeting. It's spacious with more seating upstairs.... More

Eaten here often. This resto is suitable for a quick meal or a coffee n cake etc. Food is pretty good and always fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Menu is extensive. Good for cakes too. I would avoid the Beefburgers. Last dish I ate was coconut curried chicken with rice - gorgeous.

Visited the restaurant last Saturday. It can get crowded (most people do meetings here as well as catch up with friends) but we found a seat upstairs. Convenient location within Nairobi CBD. The stair case is a hazard since the steps are a bit smaller than usual so watch out. I had the teriyaki chicken sandwich with roast potatoes. The... More

Good location choice as it is in the central business district and the ambience is great. One can do a quick meal, sandwiches, coffee, pastries or a full meal. I ordered the cocktail juice but it had too much beetroot, the tiramisu cake was good. The service was great but I found the place a little pricey.

It is in the CBD, but not too exposed. The ambiance resembles any small local restaurant, they serve nice sandwiches, a bit expensive, but acceptable. Coffee was good, beetroot juice had so much beetroot that it blocked all the other tastes in the glass. Chocolate croissant was a bit of a disappointment, the chocolate was very little and the dough... More

Perhaps the best coffee in Nairobi! At last a barista who knows his machine and the coffee he works with! Bravo. Now I hope the management will change providers of their croissant! What they sell now is the Nairobi variety of croissant made of the wrong (bread) dough. If and when they start selling the real croissant than The Mug... More
