I had heard a lot of great things about The Lord Erroll, but it wound up being just so-so. They didn't have a lot of the food on the menu. Also, they didn't have half the wines on the wine list. And, for the wine, they didn't even tell us they didn't have the bottle we ordered. We'd ask after... More

I took my wife to The Lord Errol for dinner on a Thursday evening during a visit to Nairobi. We called ahead to book a table. The venue setting is superb, but that is it. We ordered dinner from the a la carte menu. It sounded nice - the seafood selection at Ksh2,200 (USD$22) but it was a disappointment. One... More

The restaurant is set in a grand house and it's lovely with a beautiful garden, we went in the evening and still sat outside. We were there for Hubby's birthday and the chicken egg salad was the bomb, the main course was great too and after their generous servings we had no room for desert. A great night.

The setting is beautiful! Lovely Sunday brunch venue, live music, gorgeous garden, great service. But the food was not good. Many menu items were not available. I ate about 1/4 of my pork as it was like leather. Same with my husbands mixed grill. The ham and melon appetizer was strange, the mixed salad essentially a bowl stuffed with lettuce... More

We have never been disappointed in the Lord Errol, we hope that this continues. We love the verandah and watching the birds as well. We love them

The Lord Errol is almost a perfect restaurant experience. It has great food, the staff are pleasant, and the ambience, even at night is awesome. The food is better priced for many comparative places. Highly recommend a visit.

My friend and I had dinner here during Nairobi Restaurant. What a great hidden gem. We had never heard of it. Nice colonial style ambiance with a large terrace overlooking a beautiful garden. Everything was in good shape and well taken care off. Service was excellent and the food was good to. I had pork belly and my friend fish... More

My family went Lord Errol for Sunday lunch. The restaurant & grounds are amazing, wide garden & waterfalls! Service was okay, food fine, but didn't knock my socks off. I'm indifferent to whether or not I go back.

I took my family for dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Right from the phone call making reservations, the professionalism of the staff was amazing. Food was great and the service world class with the waiter taking time to help our two kids make their selection. The ambiance couldn't have been better.... More
