My friend and I went to eat at the Fairview hooping to try the much talked about Pango brassiere. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations (and was still closed a month later by the way). Since we were there we decided to try a different restaurant option. They directed us here to their "Italian restaurant". It was quiet and there... More

Stopped by here for lunch during a business meeting. The food was very good the service excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. On this day it was a very well laid out and served buffet, I'm not sure if that is the same every lunchtime. Certainly worth a visit and then a stroll around the grounds.

There is abolutely nothing wrong with the food here except that it could have a lot more flavour. My pasta was rather bland, though cooked to perfection. We had a problem with our drinking glasses and had to return them twice, once because it had a lipstick mark on it and another time because it had some dirt in it. It... More

I have to say that I have eaten breakfast here and not dinner although the period of frequenting stretches over some decades. It was the perfect place for a quiet tasteful breakfast. But some years ago everything started to change. It looks like the person in charge thinks what food looks like is more important than the food itself. Like... More

Now called Giuseppe's Attrium, the food was so good I went back again. On the first night I had a delicious king fish carpaccio followed by a perfectly cooked rib eye steak, pomme fritte and turned vegetables. Tonight I had quite possibly, the best homemade tomato soup for starter and chicken scallopini for mains. The chef is hands on and... More

Overall experience was very good, but I was most impressed with the fish dishes. The Mitende Atrium is great for large groups and the variety is very good.

When we arrived at the Country Lodge, it was late at night. We made it just in time to eat at the Mitende restaurant. After many hours of travel, the service at the Mitende perked us up. Our server was incredibly friendly and patient even though we arrived right before the restaurant closed. We had two Stoneys and pizzas. They... More

The cafe is a very nice place to sit and enjoy your (slightly pricey) meal and coffee. Trees are all over and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Wifi was on and off. Small coffee pot serves enough for a refill. The cats are still there. Service was a bit slow, but all in all it is a decent place.... More
