I actually got engaged at Tribe hotel and we ate at Jiko that evening. It was okay - the food was good, but not stellar or anything, and with the price you are paying I would say it isn't exactly worth it. Perhaps I'm biased because I was in fact staying at Tribe Hotel which is overly priced for the... More

What a great hotel within the suburbs of the city in the Sun. Superb delicacies served inside the pool. Cant miss a watery mouth.

We went here on Tuesday 2nd August for my birthday dinner with a group of us as it was recommended by a friend...how wrong that friend was! For such a "high end" hotel such as Tribe, we were not expecting this at all. We got to our table at 8pm (Please note that it was a Tuesday evening, and it... More

I am part of the captive audience, staying at the tribe hotel, so I am pretty much forced to sample the on site restaurant, but it is actually very good. I have eaten here probably 8 times in the last few months and it's been perfect all but one time, where my steak was a bit gristly and tough. Haven't... More

We stayed a night and also visited again for Sunday lunch. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms tasteful and very comfortable. Generally we were happy with the experience however the Sunday lunch buffet was expensive when compared with the quality of food we were provided with. A very well appointed hotel but overpriced. The nearby Village... More

While staying at the Tribe we ate here a couple times. We actually chose it for our last dinner in Kenya and a group of us went and had a wonderful meal - sushi, calamari (2/3 of the group said it was the best they ever had!), carpaccio, and lots of tuna. They have other items on the menu but... More
