I only ordered takeaway from here and it was okay. You can use 'Hello Food' to order online and get delivery as well.

We were recommended to try this restaurant for some authentic Italian cuisine. Lovely ambience cozy and romantic. We had some pizzas, pasta and dessert. Pizza was super pasta was also great. Desserts were ok. Expensive place. Service was poor it took 20 min to get our bill. I suppose they need more serving staff.

I found this hidden gem and I could just kick myself for not having visited before. It has an old vintage vibe which is nice, cosy and intimate. It may attract an older crowd, but as a wine and Italian food lover, I couldn't be fussed. Had recommendations on the meal and prosecco while there from the owner. I think... More

Still one of Nairobi's best kept Italian secrets. Fantastic ambience and quality of food. Grilled chicken Ida favourite. Extremely busy weekend evenings will see a bit of disoriented service though. Waiter forgot to pour water for guests, brought someone else's drink to our table and forgot to bring sugar with the tea. Owner's hands on hospitality a hit.

I ordered a penne gorgonzola for delivery. When the aluminium box arrived, it was almost empty. See the picture attached by yourself. This generous pasta meal cost me 1,050 KES only! The trip from Italy could have explained the 1h10 delay in delivering my meal to Kilileshwa, not the quantity though. Another friend took a pizza which was delivered in... More

Cosy restaurant with great Italian food and the best tiramisu in the country! My all-time favourite which is not on the menu is the tagliata with ruccola. You cannot go wrong with the pastas either. It is advisable to book a table to avoid disappointment. The service is as great; attentive but not in your face.

It's been around for a long time, and remains deservedly popular. Excellent pizzas, good wine, first-rate service, and a lovely ambience. You won't be disappointed.

This is my family's favorite place in Nairobi. La Salumeria is a straightforward Italian restaurant, great thin crust pizza, fabulous homemade ravioli, and tagliata with argula (though not every night). My 6 year old talks about the hot bread with oil and vinegar. And the gelato. Though not stuffy and the food is not precious it's white-table cloth fancy enough... More
