I had the opportunity to have lunch at the Mandhari recently. The ambience and attention to detail is indeed amazing. The service as well as the food was great. I just felt a bit on the high side but then again it was a business lunch. The overall selection was very good.

a favourite if a bit expensive. Staff are friendly and have attention to detail. Very good food and well presented. I prefer the pork dishes, succulent cuts.

What a great traditional fine dining Restuarant! From the reception drink, to the manner of service, the presentation and delivery of the delicious meal. The wine list is good. Our waiter, Ambrose, deserves a special mention! I suggest you order a side salad and see how it is presented! It would be hard to find a better Restuarant anywhere. They... More

I hadn't been to Mandhari in years - and they welcomed me back like an old friend. The ambience is stunning. It really is a fine dining set up. Very comfortable too. Perfect for a couple to have an intimate dinner or a group to have a celebration without one disturbing the other. The staff are great - very efficient... More

The Mandhari Restaurant in the Serena Hotel in Nairobi is nothing short of outstanding. They served one of the best racks of lamb that I have ever tasted. The chef and the service staff were also eager to accommodate my celiac disease and need for a gluten free meal. This experience was a surprise and a real treat. It might... More

If you enjoy good food in a fine elegant surroundings complemented with background music, this is truly the restaurant. The pianist performs soft tunes as you dine and the chef has not run out of ideas. The highlight of course is the food and Mandhari is doing a great job at keeping Nairobi's fine dining scene right on top. As... More

It was sea food night when I visited. Why didn’t I take a photo of the food? It’s simply frustrating that I never remember these exotic foods’ names. The least I should have done was to photograph the heaven-in-my-mouth experience, but I guess I was so taken up by the taste I forgot… I do remember however, that it was... More
