its one of the eateries where value for money is at its best. though one of the oldest eateries i can remember.. it offers cheap but original traditional Swahili/coast dishes. it however closes during daytime during the month of ramadhan. the wash rooms could be a bit cleaner.

Old family establishment thats spuns generations with quality Coastal dishes. The washrooms could be cleaner.

Cheap and good food. You choose your plate and they bring it from the counter as you pay. The place is not so clean, the toilet was also closed last time, the smell of fried oil will make you want to turn around, and there are a lot of flies everywhere.

The food was very good, and it was nice to get a look at the plate before ordering. the rest of the place looked like a old fast food restaurant, and was not very clean. The toilets were closed down.

This is where to go if you are upcountry and missing coastal delights! The restaurant is overcrowded and lighting dim but the coastal dishes makes the search to its hidden location worthwhile.

The menu comprises of coastal recipes. The best time to go when the Muslims are breaking their fast, you will have a lot of pastries to fill you stomach and sweet samosas. Pilau is also at its best.

Just as the title suggests, Malindi dishes serves up authentic kenyan coastal cuisine. It's very popular and if you want biryani that is the place to go. It's location isn't the best and they should consider opening another branch uptown
