I had never seen brown injera not until Habesha brought that to a reality! I was here with friends, we enjoyed the injera and the great services from friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

The food is super delicious! The environment is nice but could be made even more cosy. Service is good, the waiters and the owner were good in giving advice on what to choose from the menu.

This establishment in located 5 minutes from Yaya center on Argwings Khodeck. The meals here are very delicous. My only problem is that the wait staff is not very proficient and some don't understand english very well making it kinda difficult to get your orders in. All in all its a must if you are looking for some Ethiopian food

If it wasn't for a friend from Kenya we wouldn't have found that place - very hidden but definitely worth the experience. The interior isn't very attractive but it's bearable. There is everything you need - sofas and tables. We took a mixed plate for 3 ppl, the place doesnt sell alcohol but if you're lucky they can get you... More

The first impression of the location is not very promising. The waiting staff are not that easy to identify, as they are all casually dressed (which is fine), but most are friendly and prompt. The food is outstanding.

Perfect for couples or just dining with a small group. There are kid-friendly items on the menu. I recommend for spice enthusiasts.

I went here after work with some friends. I''d never eaten Ethiopian before and had no idea what to expect. Really tasty stuff, lots of different things to try. Definitely somewhere I'd go back to. There were 9 of us, we all had a couple of beers each, and so much food we couldn't finish it, for under £50. Absolute... More

Habesha on Argwings Kodhek Road close to Yaya Shopping Centre is hidden behind a corrugated metal sheeting fence. Normally you would just drive past a place like this BUT..... Habesha is always busy with people from all over the world, the staff are super friendly and efficient and dealing with a large group is never a problem. They have a... More

The brain said to stop but the tongue and tummy continued to gulp the tasty / delicious / appetizing / yummy meal served at Habesha in Nairobi. Habesha is an Ethiopian restaurant situated in one of the green woody areas of Nairobi, not quite easily visible if you drive fast. We ordered the regular DORO WOT, (an Ethiopian favourite and... Having a deep love for ethiopian food, there are very few places out of Addis Ababa that serve the real McCoy. It's in a large garden where you can take friends out and enjoy habesha hospitality. Kitfo (raw meat) is also safe to eat if you dare to step out of your comfort zone. And wash it down with tej... More
