The Habesha has been in business for a long time and has only got better over the years. The food is authentic and very tasty. Prices very reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The garden is shaded and cool even when the Nairobi heat is intense. Its a perfect place to while away a couple of hours with... More

It was our first time trying Ethiopian food; the staff gave us great recommendations to try (the mix tray) and they were really nice and helpful. The food was delicious, tasty and full of variety. The plate was huge, and the price was really good given the size of the portions and the food quality. The atmosphere was really calm... More

The food was great but the staff is quite rude and less accommodating. Other than that, I enjoyed my time. The place is great too!

In Nairobi for a short stay, we wanted to eat something African and Habesha was the nearest African place to our Hotel (This is the branch 550mts from Tribe hotel, near Village Market, united Nations Crescent). Service was prompt and courteous, food was delicious, portions enormous.

good kitfo and injera served in Nairobi. Dim lights create a different atmosphere. sightly away from the heart of the city but quite and relaxing place.

Was last here a year ago. It had improved a bit. Had the mix tray and their fried version of choma. The food was good and the service a lot faster than before. Will come again.

We've been visiting Habesha for years now. It's a favorite place to take friends who've never had Ethiopian food before. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great (especially in the evening!) and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. It's also a great place to bring kids (although you have to keep a close eye on them with the... More

Habesha is Addis Ababa in Nairobi. I love the food and diversity it brings to us. The portions are very good and fresh. You won't regret the experience with this restaurant. The Arwings Kodhek road branch allows you to bring in cake and celebrate birthdays.

I have been here 3 times. Yesterday (which is my last time here), I was served very cold food and very tough meat (Shikla tibs). I explained to the waiter, but no apology was forthcoming. To add insult to injury, when I ordered for Amarula cream, the waiter laughed at me (for reasons best known to himself) before my whole... More
