We were a large group; pre-ordered meat, but it took them quite long to have it ready due to staff disorganisation.

Not an expert on Kenyan food but I really enjoyed lunch here. Had the grill meat (goat) and ugali very tasty. The colleagues I was with are local to Nairobi and work close by, they ordered the cut of meat beforehand so I think this is the key. Very nice not fatty at all and cooked perfectly. I would definitely... More

This restaurant is mainly for the road runner who wants a quick bite in a rush to catch a ride. Not a cosy place for those looking for rest-eat-and play experience

A typical Original with fresh meat served from the grill ... Large and very affordable meals in a very basic setting ... It is an experience that you should not miss!

Stopped by to check out this very popular spot one Sunday afternoon. They didn't have mbuzi (lamb) choma so we settled for Mbuzi wet Fry which was way too fatty and bony. But it was tender - the little pieces one could eat. Maybe the choma is good. I don't know. Very basic. Seemed to appeal to middle aged (or... More

I see this place full of cars whenever I pass by it, so we decided to give it a try. I have had nyama choma at a few places in Nairobi and this is by far the worst of all. The goat meat was fatty, chewy, and full of gristle. The chicken was undercooked and blood started oozing out when... More

I had the best time here. The nyama choma (grilled goat) was simply delicious. The Tuskers were extra cold and a perfect pair for the charred meat. The people and staff were a lot of fun. I went with friends and we had a great time laughing and talking politics

I have had takeaway Nyama Choma from here a couple of times and am not enough of an expert to compare it to much else. It was meaty - and chewy. I think that means it was just right. Popular and busy place.

Njuguna's is a land mark for nyama choma lovers in Nairobi, being right on the Highway with a very informal setting, the meat is always tasty, been these way for years. I returned after a long time and sure enough the same service
