About
Taste of China as a Brand has been open since March 2008. We started off at Prime Apartments as a poolside restaurant. Our shift to VIP Plaza was in October 2012 where we have tried to create a more contemporary restaurant. we have now moved to 12th floor of TRV Parkwest on 3rd Parklands avenue, diagonally opposite the mosque. in the restaurant we have Trees, dragons, butterflies, birds are all part of the décor. You have to see it to believe it! We are an Indo-Chinese restaurant, A restaurant with a view !! Come try the food and check out our view !!

Perhaps 4 is generous but generally the food was very good and served in large portions. Some tips - avoid the spare ribs unless you want to play hunt the meat ( the cost of these were deducted from the bill ). The crispy prawn starter was great. Ask for a good break between starters and main courses. And go steady on the main courses - 2 regular mains and one portion of noodles or rice would have been more than enough.

We were warmly welcomed into restaurant by the Manager. The waitress is excellent as she understood what we wanted, she even suggested to us what else we could have. The owner is very friendly as he came to our table to ask if we were okay. The service is excellent and the food is amazing with a great portion.

The best Tofu Satay in Nairobi ! Perfect for a cozy dinner. The owner of the restaurant is very considerate of the guest’s opinion on the food and adjusts it to your liking. The portions are also very worth it. Two can share one dish and be fairly full. Comfortable sitting and ambience. Lastly,I’d recommend specifying the amount of chili you can tolerate because it can be overwhelming ..

I've always eaten at the restaurant until this past weekend I decided to order takeaway due to COVID. I called and the order was prepared promptly. Shock on me when I opened my packed lunch, first thing is that they now added carrots and broccoli on the

I was not impressed with the appearance. The there's the pork, it's the most sour dish I've ever had... NOT SWEET AT ALL! Had to recook it so it can be edible. The chicken was okay but the rice and noodles portions were also reduced.
I can never order takeaway from them again.

Always like coming here as you get looked after really well by the proprietor and the staff. Great flavours and love the Indo-Chinese cuisine. Portions are large so you always have a doggy bag to take home. Service was prompt. Nice location with lovely views of Westlands.

For years this has been by far the best Chinese restaurant in Nairobi. The quality of the food and the portions can't be matched. Brilliant service. Attentive owner. When in Nairobi do not miss the chance to eat here

Delicious food with a good friendly ambience.. knowledgeable staff who help with selecting the right dishes. Loved the crispy veg starters, stir fry and sauteed tofu.

Warm and friendly welcome by Daniel who organised the Saturday dinner reservation very well Asante Daniel 😎 Secondly the ambience WOW its amazing and spacious Moving on to the food mmh mmmh mmmmh Excellent food choices on the menu literally mouth-watering from the starters to the main meal And our waiter Henry, served us with excellent customer service He went further to recommend a new dish Pancake with plum sauce rolled with carrot cucumber spring onion and this i must say was absolutely deelish Kudos TOC keep up your standards its definitely a place that one would make repeat visits Yes we will be back

Their food is amazing and comes in considerable portions.
The staff is very professional and the restaurant has great ambience with a fantastic view of the city.

We were greeted well and could select a table of our choice. The waitress was well trained and knew the menu off head she even suggested. Food did not take long to come. The food was amazingly delicious. Would certainly come back and recommend anyone for a real taste of Chinese cuisine.
