i visited here in August 2014. i went several times during my week stay in Luxor. the place is a little dirty but the beer is cheap and cold. i didn't have any hassle from kids or traders the times i went there either. i haven't eaten but would be happy to give it a go. it does have an... More

A welcoming shady courtyard away from the street hassle. Across from Luxor Temple just down the road from the Winter Palace. Great place for a cheap beer. Three beers and lunch for two cost us around £7.50.

We had a Chicken Kebab and a Shishkebab, with a coffee and a bottle of Stella, respectively 25LE, 30LE,6LE & 13LE which adds up to 74LE. The bill total was 90.55LE, the difference being 'tax' of 16.55LE. I would say the header photo is misleading - white table-cloths were not in evidence. The food tasted fine and was well presented,... More

I have visited Sindbad's at least a dozen times since my last review. Recently they have trimmed the trees at the front and opened up the view of Luxor temple. This is a great improvement. Beer is no longer available at LE10 per bottle +service+tax. Recent hikes in the duty have pushed the price up to LE13 ++ (LE16 including... More

Sindbads is great. I've been going for years and it has never changed. The food isn't anything to get excited about but it's cheap and fine. The beer is cold (and cheap) and it's a cracking little spot in the shade, right by Luxor Temple. Fantastic, friendly and has plenty of character (and characters).

What a great place. Don't be put off by appearances, although Sindbad's may be looking a little run down just now, the service is as wonderful as ever. The staff could not be friendlier or the beer cheaper - E£10 for a bottle of Stella. The food is also very good too, if all you are looking for is a... More

Very friendly outdoor place across from luxor temple. Entrance a bit covered in trees but make sure you go for a visit. Don't be too concerned by the cats, they seem to stay away. We had omelette and chips and a few Stella. Simple cheap food and excellent service. Maybe got a wee bit hassle to buy things from stall... More

Didn't eat here this visit but went most evenings for a few drinks despite being all inclusive at a hotel close by. The beer is ice cold and very very cheap, the sisha is amasing and the view fantastic. It is really relaxing sitting in the garden watching the people go by whilst looking at Luxor Temple. A few local... More

Menu is simple, mainly salads, snacks and drinks. Quality of food is fine. Service is nice and location is excellent - just opposite the Luxor Temple.

I just love Sindbads. No hassle at all. The staff are so friendly. Prices are cheap, nothing amazing about the food but it is edible, you get what you pay for as they say. so a snack is good value in my eyes. Smashing little place to watch the world go by and the people that are passing.
