Very good restaurant located next to the Nile, great menu. We had grilled chicken, superb! requested a take away, but as we live just around the corner the restaurant delivered to our door.

We decided to try Nile Valley restaurant for dinner while in luxor because it had good reviews. We were seated and tried to order but were then told it was the chef's night off so we could only order salads. We ordered the Greek salad and the hummus salad. Both were quite good but we were just disappointed overall because... More

It has been some years since we last ate at the Nile Valley Hotel and as I was experiencing rheumatic pain I was glad of the chance to enjoy a restaurant with a good view and a lift! As has been said, portions are generous - in fact I had so much fried onion on top of my chicken tawook... More

This is the hotel with the lift to the roof Visited here twice during our stay. The first time with another hotel guest and the second time with a friend. On both occasions I had too much, both too eat, and on my plate, having to leave some the 1st time and leave far too much the 2nd time. Food... More

Popped in here after a visit to the'West Bank' tombs. Had a very good lunch of kofa, salad and some very nice crispy chips washed down with a couple of Stellas - just the job for lunch.

Do make the effort to visit this restaurant which is part of the Nile Valley hotel. The staff are attentive and welcome you as a long lost friend. The restaurant is an open air terrace overlooking the ferry boat quay on the West Bank of the Nile. Needless to say the views are spectacular particularly at night The real hidden... More

Skip Nile Valley and please, DO keep your money in your pocket if you like real authentic Egyptian food. Sorry for the owners of Nile Valley, but the facts are: My Kofta was being served cold, mainly because a large Dutch group/family (Touristbusses do stop at your place !!!) got all the attention of the staff. The vegetables were not... More

The Nile Valley Hotel Restaurant has an extensive menu with both European and Egyptian dishes, prices are very reasonable and alcohol is served. Excellent service and food has always been good. The restaurant is situated on a terrace with views over the Nile towards Luxor temple, absolutely stunning in the evening when the temple is illuminated.
