We had a wonderful dinner after a night visit to the Luxor Temple. We sat on the roof overlooking the Temple which stays lit until 9. Good fresh juice, hibiscus, lemon with mint and ginger. Excellent Egyptian food, Aladdin the host was friendly and accommodating. We had quite a mix with 9 in our group: chicken, vegetarian moussaka, camel and... More

Love the atmosphere inside the souk giving it an old Egyptian or Oriental feel. The food is good and they serve more traditional Egyptian food as well as well as more common dishes, as well as Shisha. The price for Egyptians is very reasonable.

The restaurant was right next to our hotel so our group decided to check it out. Really glad that we did. They offer a fantastic variety of food, whether you want camel burgers or french fries. I got a lentil soup that hit the spot after a bout of food poisoning earlier in the trip. My wife got a chicken... More

The chef Gbrele Ahmed is always ready to help you and to prepare whatever meal you want from the wide variety of egyptian plates that the menu has. The Um Ali is very delicious, and also the Fatir. If you want to taste different dishes I suggest the Mazza Tray, I really liked it. The bes waiter is Ahmed Zaki!!!!!

Plenty of selection and a very nice, quiet spot to relax and refuel. We tried the camel burger (for the first time) and was pleasantly surprised. The chef came out to check on the food which was all very good. Everyone was very kind and very helpful.

We went there on Christmas even and we had some nice food. The staff are very nice and friendly, taking good care of their customers. Second day we went on the rooftop for late lunch and enjoyed the view over the Luxor Temple.

Adjacent to Luxor Temple, next to the Hotel Nefertiti, Al-Sahaby is a friendly relaxed place. Dine on the sidewalk tables, or up on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the Nile and the temple. Decent food, and it's OK to buy a couple of beers at the alcohol store in the next alley and have them with your... More

This restaurant is very close to the Luxor temple and is a good place to have a bite either before or after a trip to the Luxor temple. We found the food average compared to the food we have had elsewhere, but the portions were quite big
