We shared a variety of hot appetizers, plus a camel meat pot (beefy!) and our favorite, the fateera (like a pizza)--all washed down with cold hibiscus juice. Everything was delicious, and the very friendly chef Gbrale was there himself to greet us and make the meal. Highly recommended!

Gbrele Ahmed took great care of me! Great people! Good food. Coconut milkshake was incredible! Plus they accept credit cards which is helpful!

Forget what I said about visiting for the Bedouin dishes! They've gone. The menu has been revamped and what made it unique and Egyptian and interesting has all been removed. It's now very dull, average fare. But the venue is still fab, overlooking Luxor Temple. On one previous visit (and I've been several times), I had the best lentil soup... More

My husband, mother, and I had lunch, dinner, and shisha at Al-Sahaby Lane on our last day in Luxor. I wish we had found this place earlier! The food was truly amazing, better than what you find at the "nicer" hotels in the area. We had a few delicious dishes but the falafel, hummus, and the Lebanese Chicken Fattah were... More

We had a few meals here whilst staying at the Nefertiti Hotel. The restaurant is located both on Al Sahaby Lane or enter the hotel and go all the way upstairs to the roof. We always went on the roof and were made very welcome. The service there was excellent, professional and unobtrusive. The view is wonderful, across Luxor Temple... More

Been meaning to go here for quite a while. Climbed up the many flights of stairs and entered the rooftop restaurant. Nicely set out with a lovely view of the Avenue of Sphinxes, Luxor temple and the West Bank. Ordered a beef tagine as was told it is delicious then patiently waited. Food arrived and have to say yes it... More

Great food, great service and excellent atmosphere. We made our way to this place to overlook the Luxor Temple at night and it provided an excellent view.

Comfortable tables and good food. Service was nice too. One point of attention: there were some annoying flies but I would say this was an overall Egypt problem when eating outside.
