This restaurant has good food. The issue you've got to decide is how hungry you are. If you're really hungry, then this is a good place to go. All the mains come with rice, baba ghanoush, hummus, salad, bread. So, there's a mountain to eat if you're famished. On the other hand, if you're not famished, then you'll still the... More

This nice and clean restaurant serves fresh Egyptian dishes in the center of the city. The hamam mahshi (pigeons stuffed with rice) are delicious, as are the soups, salads and apetisers, beef calf, liver, mombar and tarb (a type of kofta). Next time I'm planning to try the deserts, as they look fantastic (creme caramel, rice pudding, etc.). Good service,... More

Restaurant looks really normal but is truly a surprise. Great delicious food and service too. Walking distance to the market.

The waiters were very attentive and friendly. But the food was a big disappointment. The "grilled" chicken was greasy and very salty. The veal shank was very fatty and the mombar (Egyptian rice sausage) was very chewy.

Due to the drop in tourists in Aswan , the restaurant is not up to its previous standards . It is now an average restaurant for locals and does not have the same management .,while maintaining its previous prices

Recommended by locals. More expensive than what lonely planet suggests. English menu. Had the lamb and shish tawook, tasty, three pieces of each.

We had a nice meal here - our guide brought us for lunch. We had a lovely meal a few days earlier at his favorite restaurant in Luxor, so we looked forward to another authentic experience. The food was on the higher end of what we had in Egypt, but the tastes were fairly bland. Service was spotty - very... More
