A beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert with lush landscaping, a children's playground on a lower level, and outstanding quail and chicken. Our Vantage tour group stopped at Andrea on our way from Cairo to Alexandria. They have a nice terrace area for dining with good views of the surrounding area. Our group of 60 dined inside and I was glad because it was gusty, which made...it cool to be outside. The service was fairly quick for our large group. We had the customary bread, hummus and baba ganoush. For the grilled meat, I had the quail, which was good but small. The servers came around later and I got a piece of grilled chicken to finish off my meal. The panna cota dessert was good. Andrea was a picturesque place to stop for lunch.More
Andrea was always one of my favorite gathering restaurant with family and friends! This particular one stays original like always was! Professional staff with excellent food. The atmosphere is one of a kind with nice view !
We had not been back since one year and they raised the prices ridiculously. Admittedly the food consistency is fair. Very crowded all week with long waiting list, though restaurant is huge with tables all over. Historically was famous for being reasonably priced, but surely...no longer the case.More
Tour lunch and the courses kept coming. Our favorite were the meat balls and the grilled half chicken. Hot naan bread and vine leaves also very good. Windy but great city views
Great place with out of this world views of Cairo, simple menu with secret receipe grilled chicken and quay. Authentic egyptian sides and simple earthly settings for lunch and dinner.
After having our meal i wanted to drink something and they came and told me that it’s not allowed due to the waiting list so the hot drinks are not allowed I don’t recommend anyone to visit here specially that the taste isn’t special and...there are lots of restaurants better in taste and service for sureMore
What a restaurant…. The view … the trees inside the restaurant.. it is like eating in a courtyard with the best view at dusk… And the food is amazing and reasonably priced… but be aware the dishes are made for large tables for families
Andrea is een excellent place to go. We just had dinner but learned during the day they offer many options. Located on the hills of New Giza you have great view of the 6st of October. Decoration and gardens of the restaurant are unique. And...food is great!More

We ate at this restaurant as part of a tour. The restaurant is gorgeous and is located on a hill with amazing views. It is unfortunate that it was a bit too cold to sit outside, as the outside dining area was large and beautiful....The good news is that the inside is just as beautiful. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Like others have said, the chicken did not disappoint. Highly recommend.More
Found a staple in the liver dish, contacted the manager to complain but they didnt seem to care. Sadly the place seems to be falling to pieces
Lunch started with some small plates followed by a half of a chicken. Appetizers were very good. Grilled chicken was outstanding waitstaff was pleasant. I also liked the fact that leftover food is given to people in need.
The restaurant we went to was called Andrea, and their specialty being a grilled chicken. Upon entering this lovely restaurant we were greeted by puppies which seemed unusual but an unexpected delight. We were brought to our tables and they brought out a variety of...appetizers including Egyptian bread, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves and a variety of other delicious items. After the hearty breakfast earlier in the day and all of these lovely appetizers I was already getting full but then they brought out a half a chicken that was unbelievably delicious. It was not hard to force myself to finish this wonderful meal. What was interesting and funny was everybody’s plates were gathered up after the meal and all the leftover chicken including the bones were put into dog bowls and fed to the dog’s that apparently lived there. They seem to be particularly happy with this arrangement.More
