About
Andrea has been a family business for over 40 years who moved to New Giza october 2015, where you can enjoy a better view with elegant architecture of Omar Rateb Design, the origin of the original chicken charcoaled in oregano abundant marination which can be served in half chicken portion with bones or boneless (full chicken) or skewers of small pieces of chicken. Quails are also available. The pre-main dishes are a great variety of starters that Andrea is also famous for, small round freshly baked bread is also one of the good memories this restaurant leaves for any kind of visitor. The chickens and quails are grilled by the entrance, so you cannot miss the vast barbeques on your way in or out. Andrea is a vast outdoor restaurant that also has an indoor area. The food has been traditionally served for the past four decades without ever missing a beat. So the food quality is constant. It is a casual place open for brunch, lunch as well as throughout the day until dinner. It also serves wine and beer. It has home delivery and no other branches in Cairo, though there are a few other places named Andrea that have nothing to do with this genuine and original location. It has only one branch on the Mediterranean coast at the gate of a famous compound named Hacienda, but you do not need to enter the compound to enter the restaurant that has a street entrance.

The view is amazing and spectacular!! one of the best views in Cairo.
The food is very nice since Andrea is known for its roasted chicken from dozens of years.
The price is very reasonable and I expected to be more expensive since the location of the restaurant is worth a million dollars.

The restaurant we went to was called Andrea, and their specialty being a grilled chicken. Upon entering this lovely restaurant we were greeted by puppies which seemed unusual but an unexpected delight. We were brought to our tables and they brought out a variety of appetizers including Egyptian bread, baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves and a variety of other delicious items. After the hearty breakfast earlier in the day and all of these lovely appetizers I was already getting full but then they brought out a half a chicken that was unbelievably delicious. It was not hard to force myself to finish this wonderful meal. What was interesting and funny was everybody’s plates were gathered up after the meal and all the leftover chicken including the bones were put into dog bowls and fed to the dog’s that apparently lived there. They seem to be particularly happy with this arrangement.

The restaurant sits atop a hill and overlooks the city down below. It is a view that is not normally found in a flat city. The food is delicious and everything we ordered was made well and was spiced perfectly. The warm bread was a bonus.

First time to go there from a couple of years, but maybe the last. Unprofessional staff always in a hurry giving you an uncomfortable feeling that you must eat quickly and leave. Food is average, atmosphere and view are the only merit, prices are overrated regarding the type, quality, quantity of food and the kind of service you are having.

Unfortunately we waited for more than an hour watching other customers come and be seated before us! We actually saw people come and leave after eating their dinner, while we were still waiting outside. Poor seating management. Rude and disrespectful staff who obviously don’t know how to talk politely to their clients, so we left the place. Very bad experience and horrible customer service.

If you want to have amazing grills and good salads and appetizers collection with fascinating view then go to Andrea. The location on top of the hill gives it an advantage to enjoy some good mind blowing air breeze. Just be ware of it in winter, if you missed a place indoors, then may god help you out there 😀.
All their menu is awesome, howey sausages and meat balls are my favorite.
Enjoy!

Lunch started with some small plates followed by a half of a chicken. Appetizers were very good. Grilled chicken was outstanding waitstaff was pleasant.
I also liked the fact that leftover food is given to people in need.

Our Vantage tour group stopped at Andrea on our way from Cairo to Alexandria. They have a nice terrace area for dining with good views of the surrounding area. Our group of 60 dined inside and I was glad because it was gusty, which made it cool to be outside. The service was fairly quick for our large group. We had the customary bread, hummus and baba ganoush. For the grilled meat, I had the quail, which was good but small. The servers came around later and I got a piece of grilled chicken to finish off my meal. The panna cota dessert was good. Andrea was a picturesque place to stop for lunch.

This is a great place to go if you'd like to enjoy the evening breeze and are not in a hurry. Service is slow, but that is part of the charm. Take a group of friends, chat, relax, and enjoy the great view. I had quail there for the first time- quite good! I really like there salads and mezze and would suggest ordering a few to share in addition to the main dish.

In what feels like the middle of nowhere, you will find this gem, which is very well known and popular, judging by the packed tables.
I love restaurants with small menus. It means they focus on doing a few things very well. Such is the case here. Mains are essentially chicken in different ways. Sounds simple? Far from it.
We ordered a variety of meze plus 2 mains to share: shish taouk and a boneless baby chicken. The appetisers arrived first with the most ridiculously delicious pita bread. As I walked around the restaurant, I was impressed to find a troupe of happy women baking the pita in floor level wood ovens!
While I would have been satisfied walking out on only a full belly of pita, the mains were equally delicious. The baby chicken was grilled, tender and juicy.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. Serene outdoor terrace in a clifftop garden setting, with views of the city.
Well worth the drive!

The food in this place is excellent taste ane quality, but the service is awful.
The staff are rude, very poorly managed and has no sense of customer service.
They decide to close complete sections in the place on the view not to have to clean them, they insist on seating customers against their desired place, they talk together all the time. Not mentioning the lake of nice touches like checking on customers feedback.
If the service was better I would have gone at least once a weak, now i go every few months and the service is the same.
My advice if you care about the service or the mode don't go there, if you can tolerate bad service and enjoy your meal then this is nice place for you.

What a very rude staff, rude management..they asked us to leave the place roughly many times, may be 4 or 5 times under the pretext that there were a lot of people are waiting.
And that happened also with the tables around us,and when i told a responsible person he was not interested and rude with me.
The place was teeming of people, working with 100 % capacity in the corona era.
And to be honest the place itself is very nice, nice view but i will never go there again.

The food is really tasty , not a big menu but all items are very good, they have the best grilled quale really excellent and I love their appetisers and ofcourse their famous grilled chicken, but for me after eating the tasty appetisers the quale is the perfect main dish . They used to have a great Egyptian breakfast as well. The best time to go for me is before sunset as you can see Zayed city lights sparkling as it goes darker

A beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert with lush landscaping, a children's playground on a lower level, and outstanding quail and chicken. Our family of six adults enjoyed one of our favorite meals here during our two week stay in Egypt. It is definitely worth the drive! The bread is baked fresh on the premises. The only sounds you hear are birds chirping. No traffic or honking horns ~ a true oasis! So beautiful, and the food outstanding.
