The place was recommended I’m not just one, but many Cairo must-eat lists. The place lives upto the expectation definitely on food quality and taste. We went with a lot of the waiters reco since we weren’t too familiar with the cuisine. It’s a great...place for your “intro to Egyptian cuisine”. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite!
Mind you, the place is a small hole in the wall sort of place with one long table and a few high chairs facing the wall. With less seating availability, it always remains full. The only thing I found annoying is the few flies. Didn’t expect that since it was a closed restaurant.
P.S this was our first meal in Cairo. After eating at a few other local food restaurants, I would say this is best food, period. (apart from being best value too)More
Zooba was the best place I ate in Egypt. Everything I tried on the two occasions I visited was incredible. I really recommend the Hawawshi. Defo worth a try if you're visiting and want great Egyptian food!
Was really excited to try here - it kept popping up in blogs and as a good restaurant to visit. The falafel sandwiches really weren’t very good. Minimal taste - was glad I got the pickled lemon one because there was at least some flavour....One was cold too. Disappointing!More
The food here is pretty good, but they need to be more honest about the waiting time. They tell each new customer their order will be around 10 minutes. We waited around 30. Just be honest with people, and if they want the food, they'll...wait – but without the frustration of being lied to.More
First time I try their Falafel sandwich, it was very delicious. The only problem is that the place is very small and it's always crowded, you need to go out of meals hours to avoid thd crowd or to take away the meal.
Best traditional Egyptian breakfast I had so far ,, The place will put in brain memories taste way back that in my next trip would wanna be there again, I’m happy in my last day in Egypt I had right decision to get my Egyptian...breakfast in Zöbba the one in Zamalik my tounge hold all taste of enjoying real Egyptian food thanks me for it...More
We stopped in here for dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. There isn’t a lot of seating inside, however we were eating early and had no wait. We got three different sandwiches and they were all delicious. I also highly recommend trying the mint limeade.

Zooba doesn't serve any alcoholic beverages so for a good plate of Koshary and perhaps a salad or a sandwich with some fresh juice and some dessert, you can go up to 80 or 90 including service and taxes. I would recommend you to share your meal as the portions are good. It's very unlikely that you'll be able to sample their Koshary, one of their "signature" sandwiches, a salad, dessert and drinks all on your own. If you take one of those each time, you can spend around 30 all inclusive.
I hope this helps.
