I am having lunch today there . The place is coming out of the museum. You feel as if you got back in time to 1940 s . With the old decor. You can have a beer and have lunch at very reasonable price. The waiters are very nice , and the food is very good. Sure I will come... More

Went with friends in the evening. Menu looked promising, but most things were not available. So it was chicken or chicken. Most of the customers were there because they could drink alcohol. Their idea of A/C was to have a window open. Decor was like some school refectories I have known. No atmosphere. No welcome. Will not return

This place has cheap food, but the quality isn't great. Probably a good choice for small eaters on a budget or a quick lunch with a beer.

I would suggest only coming here for drinks. The Turkish coffee was very good. Prices were good. Pita bread was rubbery, 'chickpea salad' aka hummus was plain. Place was kinda dirty so I only had a bite of the food, finished our drinks and left.

It's a gem in the centre of Cairo. It captures the city's colonial atmosphere. I would gladly visit it again. Nice place to stop for a break, when sight seeing around the city centre.

We stopped in and ate lunch here. It is a place filled with Cairo History and photos of famous people all over the walls that have eaten here over the years. Very old and full of charm! The food was good and of course like the rest of Egypt it was really affordable! Only negative was that they took forever... More

A good place to escape the noisy downtown as you step into the medium-sized restaurant. The food went well with the local beer (Sakara and Stella) but the service was rather slow. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a bother. It was, overall, a decent outing.

My wife and decided to visit Cafe Riche in Cairo for brunch. The location and history of the cafe goes back many years. Echo's of musicians, scholars and revolutionaries still rings through it's walls. The atmosphere, service and food are staples of Egyptian hospitality. If you're lucky enough and smile, you might be able to get a tour of the... More
