The restaurant was recommended by our guide. It can be a bit challenging to find due to the security walk that you need to make (due to the American, British and Canadian embassies in the area). For 7 of us we ordered 7 appetizers and 6 main courses and were barely able to finish. Returned on our last night in... More

The food at Taboula was fantastic, featuring a great range of Lebanese food; I recommend the 'Small Birds' for a truly authentic odyssey. After a nice walk past all the armed guards around the British Embassy, we found this gem of a restaurant. The staff and food is outstanding. It's very comfortable and very beautiful. Must see!

Great atmosphere in this cosy underground restaurant. Was a little hard to get to as some of the streets in the area are blocked off (I assume due to embassies nearby). Food and service was great, we ordered 5 vegetarian starters for two people and it was more than enough.

We tried several mezzas (the okra was superb) and shared two main dishes (shrimp and fish). Servings were large; we wish we'd been able to take home leftovers. You can see why this place is... More

Our family of five visited twice and devoured the variety of delicious food. Excellent quality. Authentic stylish decor, attentive service from intelligent young staff. A lovely find in the Garden City.

Great restaurant in Cairo, a must visit if you like this cousine. An excellent selection of great meals with good cost. Service was great and their recommendations also good choice. I strongly recommend kofta. Unfortunately not Almaza available.
