This café has now become the most famous traditional café in the Arab world. You come to Fishawyi to sit and chat with friends and strangers over coffee, tea and tobacco. You also come for... More

This of the last is the last authentic places in Khan el Khalili. You will be lucky if you see a live music while you are there.

Great historic atmosphere, but well known to tourists. The constant hassle from vendors walking table to table can get irritating. Still, great place to take a break day or night in the Khan.

It's a nice place if you want to set in the heart of Khan El-Khalili. It's expensive a little, but it's good

Thankfully we had a friend who is Egyptian and was able to get us a spot. It's a great place to sit and people watch while you smoke shisha and drink mint tea or milk with cinnamon as you watch the masses of humanity flow down the narrow passages. Keep some small denomination loose change for the people coming around... More

It's pretty amazing to be sitting in a lane way of a really old market place and being surrounded by the madness that is Cairo. But my reviews are all based on honesty and not the excitement of "wow I'm on holidays and everything is just excellent" It's tight, service is poor and you get constant hassle from street beggars....
