Absolutely amazing bakery that blew me away. Their mascarpone cream cheese croissant made me want to dance and scream, it was so stupidly yummy. I loved the vibe and design of the cafe. Awesome place.

We first came here for dinner based on TR reviews and the fact that we fancied a pizza. Unfortunately they weren't serving pizza that night but we had a lovely burger and spaghetti alle vongole sitting outside on the upstairs terrace and thoroughly enjoyed it....The next morning we went for breakfast and were pleased to find that a toastie or sandwich and americano was less than 10,000won. A bargain and the sandwiches looked and tasted the best I have had in a long time. Don't miss this place!More

We visited Wood & Brick nearly every day during our recent trip to Seoul while staying in the Bukchon Hanok Village. They open early and have a range of excellent pastry options to start the day. Our daughters loved the German pretzels. The restaurant upstairs...was a little pricey though and had a limited selection. Note that most places seemed to close between 3-5 PM for “break time”.More

They do all sorts of artisan bread stuff there. Close to the arts district and the palace. They open at 8 am , so it is a good alternative if you need a break from korean breakfasts.

Very nice cafe if you are after a western breakfast or snack. They have about 5-6 pre-made sandwiches and salads and tons of French style baked items - danishes, croissants, twists, baguettes, as well as a few deserts. I would probably skip sandwiches as they...were surprisingly bland. Bakery on the other hand was delicious! Coffee is good too! They also have a small selection, maybe 6-8 different types of wine to go if you are craving some in the evening.More

Tried this small shop near our hotel for desert after a long day shopping and discovering Seoul! We tried an almond pastry and a slice of carrot cake, both were wonderful. Though we didn’t try them, the variety of breads on display also looked good....The people were friendly, the small space warm and welcoming. The pastries and environment provided a perfect ending for our day. Well worth a visit...More

Went here for a brunch which we were served promptly by the friendly staffs. Parma Ham pizza & shrimp garlic based spaghetti were excellent and tasty. For starter they serve us a basket of their freshly baked breads w blueberry yoghurt. Overall a nice place...for you to chill in the noon if you happened to be at Anguk station nearby.More

A friend and I stopped here for lunch during our exploration of Bukchon. We were in the mood for Western food and this charming two-story restaurant proved to be an excellent choice. The first floor features a coffee shop and bakery with myriad tempting pastries....Stairs lead to the casual second-floor dining room and outside terrace. At 2 p.m., customers sat at only two tables in the dining room so the space offered a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, away from the hordes of tourists outside. A greeter showed us to a table by the windows, which face the street, and gave us English menus. Offerings included a 3-course daily special, pasta, pizza, fish, meat, soup and small plates. We opted to share one of the salads and ordered two bruschettas topped with salmon and avocado. The tasty salad came loaded with fresh ingedients and nicely dressed. I considered the bruschetta to be heavenly and especially enjoyed the black bread with purple crust. Squid ink contributed to its list of ingredients. Service was European style — professional and impeccable. We needed to signal when ready for the bill. Otherwise, we could have lingered as long as we wanted to do so. When we left around 3 p.m., customers almost filled the first floor. It looked like a wonderful place to take a break from visiting nearby palaces and gawking at traditional architecture.More
