I rarely write critical reviews, but feel compelled to do so after my experience last night. Having had exquisite temple food in Seoul about 20 years ago, and dining at a different temple food restaurant in New York City multiple times, I wanted my kids...More

We had a good time here. At 20:00 they have a traditional dance performance. Try to book at 19:00 so you can finish eating (it’s like a million courses) and then enjoy the performance. You can either sit on the floor (which we probably won’t...More

We stumbled on this restaurant while wandering the alleys in Insadong and knew immediately that we wanted to check it out. As others have mentioned, there is only a set menu but don't let that (or the price) deter you especially if you are looking...More

Unique experience in Seoul. Beautifully decorated restaurant, live entertainment at 8 pm, unique vegan food, lots of courses (43000 KRW at dinner). Set menu. I wouldn't say that this was my favorite dinner ever, or ever my favorite Korean vegetarian restaurant (that's in NYC!). But...More

If you are vegan or vegetarian visiting Seoul then this place worths a visit. There is only one set menu. Lunch it is 33000 won per head and you will be stuffed when you finish. Food is yum and the whole environment is truly memorable!

The restaurant has beautiful atmosphere. You either sit on the floor Korean style or in chairs Western style. We came here primarily because my partner is vegetarian and Buddhist temple food is strictly vegetarian. The whole experience of a multi-course vegetarian meal was quite interesting...More

The food is presented really well, the staff all speak English, there were so many dishes! The dinner cost 45,000krw and the lunch was 33,000krw. With dinner you got a free glass of wine. The dessert I think contains honey but otherwise all vegan tasting...More

Truly an experience of its own and a must try if you’re in korea. It’s food where the taste is clean, crisp and fresh. It’s a full course, only one set for lunch or one set for dinner to choose from. I went for lunch...More

Visited Sanchon with family tonight. Warmly welcomed to table of my choice by host. Chose low table with floor seating for authentic Korean experience. Warm atmosphere and underfloor heating under the floor cushions, as per Korean tradition. Brought the fabulous items on the set menu...More

It's just a normal restaurant with the special cuisine so babies should be welcomed as well. Only thing is easy to miss the turning, you have to go inside one of the side alleys and the restaurant is located right at the... More
