Walked past the cafe and decided to pop in. Managed to communicate to a Hong Kong young man using English and broken Cantonese. The drip coffee (Mexico beans) was very good and I bought back Malawi beans as well for home consumption. Will try to...go back one more time before my trip back home.More

Lovely coffee enticing smell will come to you when you walk in this coffee shop. The coffee is great and better than the dessert, they offer specialty coffee also. There are some little plants on all tables and make you feel relax. I will come...again when visit Seoul next time.More

This cafe is located quite near to the Tongin traditional market and it is a pretty cosy cafe to sit down and chill. The coffee is pretty amazing too, with a wide range of choices.

Visited this place for a coffee after Tosokchon. It is within 10 minutes walk. Walking out from Tosokchon's entrance, you turn right towards the 'main road' then left onto the main road. Just follow the road and you will eventually come to ep 3. To...characterize this place relative to the multitude of other cafes in Seoul I'd probably describe it as one of the few dedicated to and serious about the actual art of coffee. There are trendier shops and cuter themes for sure, but this place is all about the art of producing the beverage, from bean to cup. From the entrance you walk into what appears to be a coffee equipment store, selling various brewers, tools, and even beans. There was also a bench where employees were hand picking coffee beans for roasting. Walking past the counter, you will finally see the cafe area, which is of slightly different dark wood decor and was fairly full when we visited. Even further past there is is a classroom where you can attend coffee classes. It appeared they only offer classes in Korean unfortunately. Service was prompt, waittress spoke basic English. Table decor was interesting. There was a soil patch built into the middle of the table with plants growing out of it. Kind of cool, but got a bit in the way. They had a simple menu in English as well though it we still couldn't read the specials board in Korean. We went for an iced coffee and a cafe latte. Iced coffee was pretty smooth and served in a wine glass. The cafe latte was well balanced between coffee and milk. They provided complimentary dark chocolates to snack on. Overall, an interesting cafe and worth a visit for the serious coffee drinker.More
