The food is delicious and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
I have been there twice altready and there is a lot of choice for those people like me who struggle with finding meat-free food in Korea.
I definitely recommend it! :)
Just a short walk from the subway exit. Food tastes AMAZING! Went there twice this week already. Great variety of 100%vegan meals, and delicious cakes and baked goods too. I had their mushroom burger and we shared the chili cheese fries and took home carrot...More
This is a bit of a vegan paradise in Seoul! So many options, including western dishes, salads, cakes, milkshakes etc. All 100% vegan. Ate here twice on our trip and loved everything. It was expensive - we spent about 45,000 won on lunch for two...More
Don’t get irritated by the entrance which looks quite run-down; the restaurant on the first floor is cozy and clean. For me and my family, this is the best vegan restaurant in Seoul. Dishes are very delicious. I recommend the green curry, the hummus &...More
The first time I went to Plant I was craving veg-centric food. After being in Korea for 6 months, I think that I had eaten all of the meat that I cared to eat for my entire life. On my trip up to Seoul for...More

Plant Cafe is the only reason I went to Itaewon. The cafe is a 5 minutes walk from the Itaewon station exit. The staff were friendly and speak excellent English. I ordered the mushroom burger and lentil vege bowl. Both were delicious and very filling....More
I really like Plant. They have such a great range of choices, for sharing, salads, burgers, wraps and their cakes are divine (although insanely sweet).
You can't make a reservation for less than 3 people, and the place gets packed so be sure to go...More
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest
club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
