My first BBQ experience in Korea and it did not disappoint. Use coals instead of gas so all the meat tastes better. Lovely side dishes, all washed down with cold beer and soju. Really good value for money and excellent service.
As recognizable as its Kimchi, a soft and at times crunchy spicy pickled cabbage which is a famous korean dish, is its Korean meat Bulgogi cooked BBQ style in a cooker imbedded on top of the dining table. The meat is tender and can be...cooked marinated or not, freshly cut or pre-cooked to your taste.
In Mapo Galmeigi restaurant in Incheon, the crew will set a table of meat, vegetables and sauces with Korean rice and Kimchi in abundance good for a group as much as a dozen persons on a table for them to cooked any which way they preferred to have their meal.
We were a group of ten tired persons when we arrived in the restaurant after a long flight at around 11pm in a cold night this February. The set meal was a welcome sight together with Soju, a clear and colorless, slightly alcoholic beverage of Korean origin, traditionally extracted from rice, wheat or barley, gave us an enjoyable night of food and merriment to forget the coldness of the place around us.More
I arrived here at 7 pm. Most of seats were occupied, so crowded with local people. I really enjoyed the taste of Korean beef and pork barbecue. I prefer also Korean cold noodles. You can have authentic Korean Barbecue with affordable price.
