the pine mushroom soup dumpling is a real highlight as are the beef and green beans and cucumber and chili oil pickle. Also, don't miss the shrimp and pork wonton with fresh noodles!

We are a young family of four and were turned away at 9.05pm last night because they said that despite shutting at 10pm and being half full of customers they don’t accept customers after 9pm. Very poor.

This is the best Dim Sum in Seoul. Without a doubt the best. Lovely staff. Fresh food. Small menu but it just lets them make the food super quick. On occasions they've messed up the order but that can happen anywhere. Whenever my friends are...in town I always take them to this restaurant. It is my favourite place in all of Seoul and we go there at least once a week.More

I ordered the Set A (which includes 10 xiao long bao, 2 egg rolls, jajangmyeon, fried rice, soup, and coffee) which was equivalent to about $30. The xiao long bao was quite good. But the rest of the food was just average tasting.

I've been to other DTF in other countries and they were all exceptional, until I ate at the ones in Korea, Apparently no quality control. The food does not taste terrible...it's edible but the taste pales in comparison to other DTF. Overall you leave disappointed...because the food is rather expensive. You're better off buying frozen supermarket dumplings and have them at home. There are other dimsum places in town which are somewhat better. If you want authentic tasting Chinese food, Korea really isn't the place.More

First tell tale sign was the small plate with ginger came with a dark brown liquid, Soya (yuk) I asked for vinegar and was offered cider vinegar (yuk) made the dumpling I ordered pointless. Hot and "sour" soup followed and again was totally bland... What...I don't get is how do management not follow every other Din Tai Fung in the world with the service and menu? If you are claiming t be one of the top 10 restaurants in the world...you don't change a winning formula. The other outlet in Myeong-dong was excellent, but closed hence the trip to Gangnam...needless to say no more trips to Seoul for this tasteless whatever it was.More

Had dinner tonight with family and friends at this Din Tai Fung near Gangnam station. Its a large, clean space on the 2nd floor of 세계 building. We reserved a large table in a spacious separate room in the back and were lucky to have...the whole room to ourselves. It was quiet (except for the kids we brought w us) and we could relax and talk leisurely. The food was great-- soup dumplings were a hit of course...but other dishes like the fried shrimp and chicken were good as well, maybe a little spicier than other Din Tai Fungs to appeal to the Korean palate. Service was very responsive and friendly. The only issue we had was that the (non-dumpling) food came out painfully slowly...one dish at a time separated by long gaps. Otherwise a great dining experience and would definitely recommend it.More

Best nearby
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no
further than urban Gangnam and the nearby
neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a
strictly business district with a plethora of
high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and
the steady streams of office workers bustling about.
But interlaced within are a string of shops,
restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment.
