Loved the Special Mari II (3 types of sushi roll). Squid ink roll is good. Topokki is good but very spicy. Service so-so only. Environment is good. Had late lunch there so not very crowded.

Very unique casual Korean restaurant, with English menu, a sit down version of Korean street food made with high quality ingredients. Service was good, we had a corner table with view from 2nd floor, and overall a wonderful experience. One of the diners was gluten free, one of the egg bibimbap offered a non soy version that you can get... More

The Mari was really nice with a modern twist with traditional Korean Sushi or many other items on the menu. And they and muti-language menu for foreigners. But the place was busy during weekend

Nice street food and drinks. Delicious fusion kimbap. There are different flavours of kimbap. I like eating kimbap very much. Nice view with snow flakes.

Don't miss the special meri 2. And personally i love the banana vinegar as well. However, if u don't know Korean but only English, might be a bit difficult to check out what you want

Came here with the family and the kids finished everything. Food was YUMM! Price was super reasonable. Service was top notch. Tip. Get the a. Special Mari2 - Nice fusion! b. Galbi Salad with Rice - plenty of fresh greens. c. Topokki - Any version. Cooked tender and to perfection.!

Looking for a good quick resto in Seoul , School Food is a sure bet. I've tried the one in Myeongdong and and this one. I tried the local varieties in the past visits , but this time I tried the tested Pork cutlet , and was not disappointed , the pork was tender and the breading not oily, a... More

Recently, I have been to School Food, recommended by friends. It’s a nice restaurant found in multiple locations. Though, School Food seems to always be hidden under other buildings. Once you have found one, there is no stopping yourself from going again and again. School Food has a very welcoming modern style and nice view of the neighbourhood. The waiters... More

Staying in Sinsa / Garosugil

Neighborhood Profile
Sinsa / Garosugil
Trendy, chic, fashionable – these are just some of the words that sum up Sinsa and the neighborhood of Garosugil within it. In particular, Garosugil has emerged recently to be one of Seoul’s most popular neighborhoods; from the latest haute cuisine to what’s next in haute fashion, the restaurants, boutiques, and shops here tend to spark trends quickly spreading nationwide. It’s a magnet for celebrities, fashion industry titans, and Seoul’s elite and elite-aspiring, although some claim soaring real estate prices have led to a decrease in Garosugil’s independent charm. Still, it continues to remain one of the hottest and hippest areas in Seoul, so it’s best when visiting to make sure you’re dressed and looking the part.
