We were four adults and ordered four dishes for sharing. Nachos were cold as if they had been taken out of the fridge. The ham/cheese sandwich tasted more like a sweet piece of partly uncooked bread and was no pleasure to eat. Then we had...More
Really disappointed, considering YG being such an established company I expected good quality for the price of the meal. But I guess they should stick to their Day Job of managing great Kpop artist.
At first glance the cut if meat seemed promising but the...More
After a day of strolling; we had a few drinks in this bar sicne it is just below our hotel; Hotel28 Myeondong. Drinks was great and they have good cocktails. Ordered some foods as well and it was also good. Service was good and could...More
Do not expect a culinary experience: the chicken burger was fine, with bbq-ed chicken properly cooked and an oversweet bbq sauce. Bun was also too sweet but was surprisingly nicely toasted.
Service went from efficient/friendly to non-existant (waiter playing darts by the service counter)
The two times I visited YG Republique, the upstairs K*Pub Booze and Bar on the sign outside, I had completely different service hence the poor rating as that sort of thing should be consistent. The first visit the service was very attentive whilst the second,...More
This was our first try at Korean bbq and probably our last. The meat was not the best quality tough and fatty and very expensive for the amount you get. The main problem is when they cook it they do not put any seasoning on...More
I came here because I was looking for Korean bbq and this place has good rating in trip advisor while I was in Myeongdong. Be warned this is not a foodie place. It is more like a pub than a restaurant. The good rating is...More
So fabulous foods and YG Goods!
Korean BBQ was good. :)
I received a 20% discount on the Mastercard Seoul Guide Map, which I received from the tourist information center near Arex.
Do you like a Kpop or Korean dining? I recommend it here!
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighborhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and
Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighborhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighborhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
