Would not recommend to my friends . An average place for non demanding people . Food low level and basic . Big portions but not tasty and very salty .

We were there with my family and our guide recommended this place as one of the best. But in real it is looks like canteen (столовка), khinkali was not so good as we expected, for the fish we have ordered rice, but rice was kind...of overcooked porridge and potato french fries like fried in oil that has been used many times. Only salad and bread was good. So in general it feels like canteen or chip cafe's in the begining of 2000. (Арзан бір асханадан тамақ сасып шыққандай боласың)More
Went here for lunch after seeing the reviews. Food is average. So many better places to eat in tblisi. Staff looked tired and the ambience is depressing. not recommended
I visited this place over 10 years ago and the reason I never came back was the fact that they brought cold food 🙂 Visited this place again several month ago and we actually had great service and nice khinkali along with wine. Today they...forgot half of our order, khinkali was so so and wine also seemed liked not good enough. When we asked for forgotten order we also asked whether it’s ordered or not and of not we would like to finalize payment. All we got was a check and no apologies. So if you decide to visit this place you just have to be lucky and don’t have a guarantee it’s a good place.More
I went to this place to have dinner i ordered Khinkali with meat and Steak milanese Khinkalis were amazing!! Steake milanese i wont recommend it the meat was so hard to cut and it did not taste good. The prices were amazingly cheap too
Terrible service, we waited for the order for more than one hour and no one even cared to approach us and to apologize. And even after that they had forgotten one of our dishes, when asked about it, they just said they will cancel that...order. They did not care that one of our friends was left hungry because of that. Do not go there, you will not feel comfortable, they don't know how to treat guests.More
Order some khinkali, beer and garlic mayo chicken.. The khinkali was good but the order took almost 2 hrs for us so we ask the waitress if we can take away the chicken. Good thing is that they are nice and can speak english.
First of all, you walk in and the dance floor is just right there at the entrance. It is crowded and you've no way to understand where to go, whom to approach. As first timers, we had no idea that we don't get any service...where they will seat you at an empty table. You have to scout for a table yourself, and that itself is torture. The place is huge and it is a maze in there. Each floor has a different structure, you just don't know where to go. When we finally managed to get seated, we had to buzz a button to call our server, who came after about 7 mins or so to give us a menu and left. When we decided on what we wanted, we had to buzz for him again and then he took our order or tried to at least (language is a huge barrier; they barely speak any English!). The whole dinner idea was a failure. The food was served in the same slow fashion. It was nice, nothing special. For the bill, again the same buzzing technique. Just waiting for the server to arrive each time (for the menu, ordering, food to arrive, bill to arrive) took an extra unnecessary 45 mins for sure. Besides, they are all rude, they don't bother to guide you around. Agh! Never again! Do not recommend. Go to some other place for authentic Georgian cuisine, there's aplenty.More
Ordered Khachapuri but the taste was very salty because of the cheese and cannot finish the whole dish. The live music and the place were good. staff are unable to communicate in English.
We enjoyed this place. Lunch with friends. We took a relatively expensive wine = monastery qvevri saperavi 2015 4.2 in Vivino for 120 (they have much much cheaper ones) but it was worth every penny. The rest were tasty traditional dishes. Great khinkali variety and...great meat plates. We loved this place. Even with this high wine cost it ended 50 per person. Worth the visit if you’re not looking for a high end restaurant but a very descent place to eat.More
We ended up in this place after midnight, when it was impossible to find a place where they will serve us khinkali in near the river area. We heard that the reviews are various, but we didn't expect it to be such unpleasant visit. First...we chose a table outside, because inside there was some live music night and it was too loud (although we loved live music in Mestia!). Then the waitress literally forgot about us (she admitted that) and we had to wait for her over 30 minutes. We ordered different types of khinkali and bottled wine. After some time waitress came to say, that she gave us old menu and we have to choose wine again, minding higher prices. We did agreed. After some time the food and wine came. The food was warm, but so was the wine. It was definitely the worst khinkali and wine we had in Georgia. Looking and many good reviews I wonder - maybe night shift staff is worse.More
It’s quite big restaurant in the center with lots of space. Besides khinkali they offer a big menu with Georgian cuisine. Almost all the dishes came fast enough but we had to remind about our drinks few times. Overall service isn’t anything special but food...comepensate it. Prices are pretty much same as in most of places nearby, so it makes it a good value for money. Bill will depend on what to order, some people had huge plate of khinkali, which are less than 1 GEL per piece. If to have other dishes average bill is 15 EUR per person. Champinones with cheese suluguni is highly recommended.More
Despite reading mixed reviews, we decided to try the place. We were greeted by a friendly waiter and shown to a nice table. We each tried something different, khinkali, khachapuri, and kababs. We all loved our selections which were more than ample in portions and...were easily washed down with excellent, cold beers. Great food, nice surroundings, pleasant and attentive service and modest prices, what else could ask for?More
Good restaurant with variety of "Khinkali"s and Georgian cuisine. Fried "Khinkali"s are highly recommended. Very clean and good service. Prices are moderate. You can enjoy your fabulous meal with Saperavi.
We ate at Khinkali House on the recommendation of the tour guide on the city sightseeing bus, we were not dissapointed! We probably would not have found this without guidance as the exterior appearance gives nothing away. As food lovers we were overwhelmed by the...size of the menu. Our waitress knew very little English, so some of the younger staff helped when needed. The restaurant was busy and is open late, with lots of locals eating there-always a good sign! Not knowing what portion sizes to expect and because it was inexpensive we ordered way too much food, but we just wanted to try everything, because it looked so good. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it, in fact we took some home with us. Not the most glamorous of surroundings, but the service was efficient and the food was excellent. I would definitely return and would recommend it to others looking for good value for money.More
