This is already an old cafe which used to be super popular , and still keeps its popularity. They are good for both lunch and dinner as well as for coffee/tea , or drinks. The live music there is usually great and location is fantastic. Even though I think they are some better options in the area.

Photos uploaded for fellow travellers I believe the only restaurant in the bustling street where there were no people trying to force you to try their place. That shows that they go by their reputation which can also be seen by their high rating. For the first time we tried Adjarian Khachapuri, it was very nice of the staff to... More

Doing our usual tourist thing of walking until exhausted we visited this restaurant after a solid day of wandering Tbilisi – so we were keen for food! There are plenty of restaurants in this street and the atmosphere is great – We walked through this street and ate at a few other of the restaurants and it never disappointed us... More

It's a nice place to sit. Very touristy. Service was very good. Food was average. But a very nice place to sit and enjoy.

We went to Kala twice for breakfast: matsoni (Georgian yogurt) with mint and khachaputi (delicious Georgian cheese pie). Each time our breakfast was great :-), staff was nice and quick, and location of the place speaks for itself:-).

As we reached the town of Tbilisi, we as the family explored whatever we could find to satiate for the food in which the country of Georgia could provide. Our hotel was nearby the centre of the town, to our delight, there were numerous ones around the centre town of the capital of Tbilisi. As we walked on to one... More

Loved it! Really great Khachapuri Adjaruli which you can eat as breakfast or add some mixed vegetables, mushrooms and salad and have a proper lunch. With great and friendly service you will find yourself going back there daily. The waiters are really helpful and nice, especially the girls (I’m sorry to have forgotten their names, but I’m complimenting their style... More

A nice place to taste Georgian dishes, we stayed outside, where you can see the people passing by. Food was really good and we had a good time

Great Georgian as well as European style food. Favourites include: Asparagus salad, cob salad, mixed Pali - walnut paste with spinach, beetroot etc, odjahuri - port and potatoes, and Lobito bean soup. Quality wine and the homemade lemonade is delicious. A great people watching place. Often have live music, nice outdoor eating area.
