Okay, first of all let me say that this place was open at a different address a few months ago - and even though the place at the old address was small - it was great! The service was great, the server was very attentive,...kind, polite and overall just great! The sitting places were thought through, intimate and comfortable, the interior design was just perfect for the theme! The place was also right on the central street - easy to reach. What I loved about the place most were their one of a kind noodles - you can't find such noodles in Tbilisi, they are nice and thick with a great sauce (a variety for you too choose from teriaki to sweet and sour sauce). I even loved that they had a limited choice of drinks - just like it is supposed to be with noodles. I've been to the place ONCE since they moved and I am very disappointed. Though the new place is located on a relatively calm street - the building itself (that used to be a beer pub) hasn't changed much where interior is concerned. The sitting places have not been thought through - very uncomfortable. They either have a single person tables or tables for four - the tables that two people can barely fit by are located right near the door that kept being left open - keeping me and my friend freezing most of the time! The server tried her best to keep us at the singles uncomfortable table (maybe she was hoping to get the tables for four busy later, I don't know) - when we finally refused and moved to a bigger table (where it was SUPPOSED to be warmer but the place was still quite chilly cold in December mind you!), she visibly showed her displeasure (like we owed her a million bucks!) and it was all she could do but not to throw the food at us when it finally arrived! The place was half empty, mind you! it was just us and two couples, ALSO trying to sit at bigger tables! The service is horrible. They really should teach the servers some manners - or change them all together - when I go to a place I make it my duty to make the servers job easier on them by at LEAST being polite - however that does not mean that they should make it their job to make all of their guests uncomfortable to the point of wanting to run away from the place! It's not the clients fault the management had not thought the interior through well. It's all I could do but hope that the girl didn't spit into my food! What with the face and manners that she served and later grabbed it (we were not even finished!). To add to the disaster - the music was banging so loud we could barely hear ourselves speak and when we asked the servers to maybe tone it down a little - we were treated even more disrespectfully! I don't care how many free soy sauce bottles you put on the tables - if the table is tiny and the service is horrible and the sitting is really uncomfortable - I doubt the place will work. Much as I like their noodles - (the portion got smaller by the way) - I'm afraid I am not visiting the place again.More
