I do not know why people write good reviews because we had horrible food. We ordered chicken Tabaka and we took one bite and then left. The chicken was clearly deep fried and was therefore uneatable and very very dry. Now chicken Tabaka is normally...very nice. It is made by pan-frying butterflied chicken in butter until you get a crispy, dark golden-brown crust while the meat inside is tender and juicy. That was not the case at all here. According to the waiter chicken Tabaka is normally deep-fried but he probably got mixed up with Kentucky Fried Chicken. Unpleasant place, avoid. Waste of money and time.More

Beautiful neoclassical interior. Food overcooked, meat is stiff. Service is far away from ok, it's awful. Not recommended at all.

Good food but very dishonest service. It makes me think that waiters are trained to cheat you and make you order the most expensive for no good reason. Check the menu and prices carefully, double-check the price for what you’re ordering and keep the fingers...crossed that the bill shows the cost you had expected 😄More

Good ambience. Good music. Enjoyed the food the only bad thing was that it was a bit salty. Other than that, it was lovely. The staff were friendly and nice.

Great place - both food and service are excellent. Very friendly staff and a helpful Manager (sorry, didn't ask for her name) - she was able to advise on the right meals to give us true taste of Georgia and Megrelia. Thank you for unforgettable...experience!More

We are so disappointed right now because we have had the second bad lunch experience with this restaurant in approximately 1 month. The first visit, I asked if we could get 2 glasses of compote. The waiter said “no”. We found out later that there...was a lunch menu where we could have ordered individual glasses. So we were forced to order from the general menu which was much more costly. Second visit, we asked the waiter, Giorgi, for the lunch menu and ordered everything from the lunch menu, which he held in his hand, pointing to the items as we talked. He told us the Megrelian karcho which cost 9 lari was enough for two, so we ordered one bowl. The elarji which cost 5 lari was only enough for one, so we ordered 2. The compote was 2 lari each, and the cappuccino was 8 lari each. Our total bill should have been 39 lari plus 5% service charge. Well, when the bill came, it was unrecognizable! We were charged 18 lari for the karcho, 22 lari for the elarji, The drinks were the only thing correct. So our bill came to 63 gel including service charge! When we questioned Giorgi, he said because we split the one portion of karcho into 2 bowls, he had to double the price! He did not give a reasonable explanation for charging us 22 lari for the elarji, It was definitely not because we were served dinner portions because my daughter saw the large portion on someone else’s table and it was very big. We had two little plates. When we tried to talk to him further, he got upset. Then he said wait. We waited for a while until a fellow waiter explained to him that he failed to charge us from the lunch menu. He came back and snatched the bill off the table. When he returned, he threw the new bill on the table in front of us and we objected to that but he kept walking. When he returned, my daughter asked him why he was angry with us since it was his mistake. He refused to apologize for overcharging us and his bad attitude. Beautiful restaurant, food is good but service appears to be about overcharging foreigners. We have not had this experience in any other restaurant in Georgia so we will not be returning.More

Cheesy interior, staff was so strange. At first they seemed quite polite but the waiter serving our table was too rude, trying to add drinks to our order without asking anything, while he was not happy about questions regarding the food and seemed very angry...about his job, the same goes for the other members of staff. And even though food was mainly delicious, the staff ruined most of the visit.More

Late lunch was really good, “megrelian” (west part of Georgia) cuisine is very nice and tasty, but you have to know a little about Georgian cuisine to be fair with “megrelian” one! service also was good and what is important - fast delivery. They have...own bakery and the bread is fantastical, grilled kitchen - delicious. I recommend, not bad choice if you are comfortable with its’ location.More

If you are looking for a place to a good food, quality service and just enjoy the evening,CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLACE. Unfortunately, before we even ordered food, we were forced to leave the place because of the most unprofessional women in the industry of Service,...which unfortunately is the manager of the restaurant.More

The restaurant is quite fancy and the waters offers very good service. I recommend elarji and the salmon in walnut sauce. Other dishes also okay but a bit salty for my taste.

If you want gaudy, cheesy decor with indifferent service, painfully loud music, and salty flavorless food that comes an hour after arrival, this is the restaurant for you! There are too many good restaurants in Tbilisi to blow a night at this place. Avoid.

Have been there five times in three months and tried a number of various dishes. Most of the meals in Dadiani's menu were really impressive, with well-balanced Mingrelian flavors. The list of my “likes” is quite long, it includes kharho, satsivi, chicken in bazhe, kupati,...kuchmachi, kverebi, chincholia ghomi, elarji, gebzhalia, spinach pie… The only dishes I did not like were the grilled piglet (served cold, with thick and rubbery, not crunchy skin) and Chef’s salad (claimed to be Mingrelian but made with mayonnaise and thick balsamico!). The waiters were always friendly - special thanks to Gigi for his consistent attention! As for the prices, they are reasonable given the quality of food and the service.More
