Lunch buffet is a mini buffet which means you choose one main dish from the menu and the starters and desserts are buffet. Evening buffet is more expensive by about 7$ and is a full buffet with a lot variety.

near the Sule pagoda, within the Sule Shangri-La Hotel, had dinner several times in this great coffee shop, which offers different themed buffets each evening: Italian, Japanese, Myanmar Style ... great food quality, always present in great quantity, good service in line with the quality of the property, cost between 30 and 35 dollars

Nice, lovely respite from Yangon center! Went for dinner twice to Sule and a lunch and snack at the small cafe just at the entrance to the restaurant. All of it wonderful! Great food, lovely 1st class service. The Maitre d's who tended to the tables in the restaurant were lovely; helpful, charming, attentive and professional. We tried a bunch... More

. . . is well worth the USD$22 price IF one has a leisurely meal starting at 0600 hours and finishes by 0730 hours. Try everything whilst not missing their homemade yoghurt, waffles and assorted jam spreads. Get a pot of regular coffee and spike with a double expresso. This meal should last until a late afternoon pause for tea... More

I came here for brunch and sat in the furthest corner. I was doted on up to the point of my (really good) coffee arriving but then seemed to be a distant memory. After finally getting a member of staff's attention I ordered a Cold Mezze Platter. It took a while to arrive considering the restaurant was almost empty but... More

Shangri La is up to its usual standard with food and beverage. The pies are really pleasant and make an excellent quick lunch.

We didn't stay here but popped in for breakfast after early morning at the Schweydagon pagoda. By far the most lavish breakfast buffet in town ($25) as you would expect at a Shangri La hotel. The hotel could be anywhere in the world which is why we went for something more colonial but this cafe is a great place to... More

Buffe style with a huge selection of fish, sushi and all kinds of meat. Food is very well presented and service excellent. They have a broad variety of desserts as well as drinks. Sushi in Myanmar - all good. Well done and good taste. No problem after that meal either. I can recommend this place and would be happy to... More
