We visited 999 Shan Noodle House twice during our trip, and both times the food and service were excellent. Always busy with both local and foreign visitors, it's clearly a popular place to go for authentic Shan food. Highly recommended!

Want to try some local noodles? Come here. Friendly staff at a very local ambiance with good food. We were 2. Had one dry and one soup noodle and both were tasty.

This little restaurant is hidden in a not very busy road. They have friendly staff and the food was really good. If some portions were a bit bigger it would be excellent! Anyways, I will be back to eat there.

Ordered the whole fish in tomato sauce. One of the most expensive items at 6,000 Kyat. Absolutely fantastic. Great flavor, fried crispness on outside with fresh fish on inside. Really well done.

I think it's a flat rate of 8000kyt from the airport to anywhere in Yangon - there's a ticket deal just before the exit who sort it all for you.

Doubt Myanmar budget eateries cope with allergies or even gluten free. Yoy would have to go to something like the Shangri La to be really safe.
