We came in early before the crowd starts to come in on a Saturday morning. Place was almost full house when we left ~8.30am. It's a small shop but easy to find if you use google map.. Cab driver might not know but you can self-direct there . It's 5mins walk from Sule Shangri-La on 34th street. Place opens from... More

We got in from a night bus and luckily the noodle house opens at 6am! We had had shan noodles a few times already but this was by far the best and they gave us the best fried tofu I've ever tasted for free!

This place made my belly and heart very happy. The food was so good. I love noodles and steamed food and their pork rib soup was devine and so was their chicken wanton with oil. The tea was so good that made us order 10 packs. The staff were very attentive and very hospitable. Kudos to the owner and their... More

Stop in for a quick, tasty bite in this clean, conveniently-located noodle shop. BLUF: Friendly, quick service, and easy ordering/can ask questions because the staff speaks English well. FOOD: Shan noodle salad--served cold, with chicken, they have pork as well. Accompanied by hot chicken broth on the side. Garlic sautéed watercress. Both dishes were seasoned well and came out fast.... More

We enjoyed absolutely delicious food at 999 Shan Noodle House. It had a fun, busy atmosphere to it, too! Despite the busyness, the manager/owner still took time to explain and recommend things on the menu. We appreciated the extra effort and the awesome food!

Very nice staff. The dry noodles that they served me was too salty for my taste. I couldn't really find anything special about it so i guess I'm one of those reviewers who would say this restaurant is overrated.

My husband and I visited twice during our stay in Yangon because it was cheap, clean, and delicious. I ordered noodle dishes on both occasions, and that's the way to go. My husband explored some of the rice based options, which were fine but not stand out. I mean, "noodle" is in the name; that speaks for itself. The staff... More

Wait staff was very welcoming and food so delicious. Many european tourists there, probably cause of trip advisor feedbacks, but this place really is worth going:)

I asked the waiter for his recommendation, and he told me to order sticky noodles. I thought it was going to be the most expensive option on the menu. In just one minute, my meal was prepared. He showed me how to eat it to have the best experience, so kind, and in a very good English. The food was... More

Shan noodles were our favorite dish in Myanmar. Obviously we went to 999 shan noodle shop more than once. They have a big menu with more than only the traditional shan noodle soup or salad.
