Dinner for 6. We have never seen a 37 page menu of all thai options! Needless to say it took a while to decide. Service ws professional. Food excellent. We were there just after 5 pm Sunday and had the place to ourselves so it was nice and quiet. Spice levels agreed with our palates. Did I mention large portions... More

Like many others, we have visited this place since it is conveniently located across the street of Chatrium hotel (with no other competitors). We didn't have a lake view, but having seen the lake in the afternoon, we weren't missing anything. Very simple decor, plastic tablecloths, big fans on the floor threatening to blow you away. The menu is almost... More

THE GOOD: close to the hotel COULD DO BETTER: Service Water The food was alright, nothing spectacular. But not bad either. Our issue was that service was not that great especially considering how empty the restaurant was. Another issue, which I did not suffer from but my wife did. They had placed two glasses of water on the table which... More

Unfortunately, we did not ask the right questions when we ordered. Food was served family style and there was a LOT of food. When our server asked if we wanted hot or mild, we definitely should have said mild. Having eaten Thai food often at home, we usually do the "medium" and completely enjoy it. However, this was so hot... More

Very well located if you stay in the Chatrium hotel. Plenty of choice. Friendly service. Very good quality/price ratio. No alcoholic beverages except beer. Recommend to reserve a table inside close to the windows with view on the lake.

Big menu. Right across a busy road from the Chatrium Hotel. A little quirky decor. Seemed popular with tourist groups but the y plenty of seating.

This restaurant offered a wide and varied menu of high quality Thai cuisine. Meals were of good proportion and the quality was exceptional. Service was friendly and efficient. We were so impressed with our first meal we returned for another rather than go elsewhere.

This is a mid-priced Thai restaurant just across the road from the not-very-reasonably-priced restaurants at the Chatrium Hotel. The Bangkok Kitchen is worth a visit if you are staying at the hotel (unless you want an alcoholic beverage with your meal; they don't serve them here, but told us that we could bring our own next time if we wanted... After a day of temples visits close to the lake we finished at Bangkok kitchen thinking to end properly this beautiful day. What a mistake !!!! The food was not just awful in terms of taste but also not fresh... we started with fresh spring rolls... they came waterly with a disgusting fishy taste, the pork skewer were fatty with... More

The wait staff is friendly and knows enough English to help us throughout the meal. We tried the pad Thai, panang curry with beef and coconut rice. We ordered one large bottle of water for the two of us. They were a little slow bringing the rice after they brought the food. They could have fewer bugs in the place... More
