As we were staying at the Belmond, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant on the first evening. We have been very very surprised by the high quality of the dishes, the diversity of the menu and how attentive the waiters were. The setting is ideallic in a colonial mansion in the embassy area of Yangon. Building is from... More

A gorgeous setting. Brilliant service and the best buffet. We live in Yangon as ex-pats and have slowly been visiting as many restaurants as possible. We went for a special occasion, my birthday. We will go again just for the great quality of food and the lovely ambience.

We had lunch here twice during our short 4 day break to Yangon and throughly enjoyed both stays. The restaurant is part of a hotel from a converted old colonial building, with a strong wooden structure accent. The outdoor tables are just by the pool, creating an idyllic setting to enjoy your lunch or dinner. The indoor tables are in... More

Great choice of local a international dishes to choose from in an idyllic setting on the deck. The food is really tasty and the service is great too. We also had w dinner one night that was excellent. Lots of people complaining about the price. It's a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for.

Very good food and service for Myanmar standards . The hotel and the restaurant are very well kept . The food is very good and the service is very professional . My recommendation only eat why you know in Myanmar unless you like to suffer next morning

Watch out as the food prices here are REALLY expensive. A beef burger runs you $42 and the appetizers are in the $15 - $20 range. The food isn't great either. I would skip this place and go elsewhere.

Nicely set up with the pond and beautify wooden building. At night, it was windy and cool. The Myanmar food including curries, salads and rice were yummy. However, there were too many mosquito and I got several bites.

Beautiful surroundings and ambience.. Varied buffet menu at a fixed price. Good food, but not outstanding. Good service. But overpriced $20 dollars less would be good value.$10 less maybe. But at $55 only for that special occasion

As my title says there is no time like all three meal times to eat here. The staff are wonderful and the meals extremely good no matter what the time of day. The wines are satisfactory although not cheap but if you cannot find a nice wine then you are not trying hard enough. Even fussy wine lovers will be... More

So, so, so nice, cosy, elegant, high decoration place. Colonial style with natural luxury and high quality service. Waiters were very kind, discrete and professional. We were upstairs where it's the asian and Myanmar buffet. Huge selection of local food, with the best lemongrass soup we never before taste. The area of salads was wonderful, tasty and really exquisit. It's... More
