About
Here we celebrate life’s simple pleasures – coffee, cocktails and an open kitchen with the freshest local and regional ingredients. Sofaer & Co’s space preserved most of the original features of the building – including the encaustic Victorian-era tiles from Manchester, steel beams from Lancashire and wood panels from possibly the era of the Vienna Cafe and Burma Book Club.

I went there many times and never feel bad. Prices are a reasonable but not cheap one. You can grab a latte with 3200MMK. I recommend eating coconut sticky rice with Mango. Btw, you can get detox water as complimentary.

Upon entering, one is greeted by friendly, professional staff and led across the 1906 floor to one's choice of tables. This place isn't all that large, yet a high ceiling does lend spaciousness. A rustic ambiance with decor to match, happy hour makes it all...More

The Sofaer has an oustanding location and very nice waiters. And they serve nice cocktails. But unfortunately the "fusion kitchen" seems to sometimes get the wrong mix. Or do you like an entire softshell crab sitting on your noodles staring at you? Not me. And...More

Well we were early at 6.30pm and hence the only ones in the restaurant. Nicely fitted out, we sat at the front of the place and watched the activity behind the bar and in the kitchen. Food was brilliant, drinks very reasonable and I would...More
