Mele Beach Bar is a must visit place to drink, eat or just chill. But on a Friday night the fully independent ni-van, one hour free show is simply amazing. Order a pizza at the bar, sit on the sand and enjoy the place.

Went on the Friday night and watched the fire show. It was absolutely amazing as was the wonderful atmosphere of the place. An absolute must as the beach in front was very enticing as well.

If you're in Vanuatu you must check out the fire show on a Friday night at beach bar. Mind blowing. It's a local crew from Mele, they are self managed and self trained. Make sure you put money into the hat as it supports the artists and their village. I suggest at least 1000 Vatu person. It's worth it.

The Beach Bar is such a great place. The staff are very welcoming and the service is awesome. On Friday nights they have a fire show. It's incredible. This was one of the highlights of my visit to Port Vila. The pizzas there a great too.

Pretty average food and expensive (like the rest of Port Villa - I don't think this city is on anyone's list of gourmet experiences!); however, the view is great when you have a drink in your hand and the fire show is the one thing in Port Villa that will exceed your expectations.

We came in at around 5.30 for a leisurely wait for the show to start around 6.30 or 7, getting excellent seats. Dine on pizzas from the wood fired oven and a fresh fish curry and a couple of drinks and casual talk with others - then the show - brilliant. Funny, skilful, acrobatic, home grown and local.

This is the best way to spend your Friday night for sure. The beach bar Mele-Roxi and Malcolm will welcome you to your pre booked table & the fab staff will be ready to take your order for food & drinks. The staff are warm & engaging & are so great with kids. The show starts at sundown (630-7) and... More

Headed straight for this restaurant upon returning from Mt Yasur in Tanna on a Friday. Great spot on the beach next to the pier for the ferry going to Hideaway island (the island is only a few hundred metres from the mainland). This restaurant has a great vibe and the manager Roxi was really friendly, even arranged my transport back... More

A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beer garden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vila's biggest screen, right on the beach and our Sunday Sessions starting with live music from 1pm followed by our great new show "Sunday Kustam Karnival" where Bank's Snake Dancers meet our talented Circus Performers". Something for everyone at The Beach Bar!
