We arrived late ( about 8:45pm on a Tuesday) as the staff were packing up with no other customers in the place. They kindly agreed to stay open just for us and presented a lovely meal - Fish of the day.

If you are searching for good coffee and lovely view this place will spoil you. Ice coffee is my favorite with cool down the heat. Please do not miss this place.

Lovely spot, great service and a delicious complimentary home-baked fresh roll, but the Caesar salad was disappointing. Ordered it without chicken but all it was was lettuce with dressing and a tiny bit of parmesan. No egg, nothing else.More

Dear Hanne A. I was sorry to read of your disappointment but the only egg in a classic Ceasar salad is the egg yolk in the homemade dressing. With the exception of the quite complex dressing the only other ingrediants are lettuce, crispy croutons and...More

Ideal waterfront location, great menu, beautifully prepared food. The affogato was the best I've had anywhere in the world (not sure exactly why I order this in Vanuatu, but it was a good decision). Alas, the portions were a bit small and somewhat pricey. Certainly...More

The Mediterranean design, waterfront location and superb cuisine have earned Cafe du Village iconic status in Vanuatu. Just a few steps down a leafy passegway next to the Grand Hotel you will enter into a small coutyard of serenity with split level coral based terraces, vivid white ballustrates, high ceilings, and white louvre shutters. Our local staff are carefully selected for their friendliness and hospitality from the top resort hotels and international cruise lines. We offer a diverse choice of dishes to suit most palates, from our freshly caught fish and lobster (when available), our excellent local beef, to our popular sausage and mash and steak and kidney pie, but make sure you a leave a little space for one of our amazing desserts. With a perfect location, beautiful views over the harbour, breath taking sunsets and fabulous hospitality there is no better place in Port Vila to relax, enjoy and while away the day.
