A lovely cafe and bar on the water. Ni-vanuatu staff are friendly and attentive. Good service and good coffee.

As the start point for Parasailing and the Glass Bottom Boat, you get to sit on the water edge, with great staff who made you feel super welcome. The food was delicious! Went back a few times when was in town.

I found nothing above average with this restaurant. The food was a little on the pricey side but nothing memorable about the taste. I had the steak and kidney pie and found it just average.

The place has basic food but expensive prices. Also lots of mosquitos there. Very slow at getting your food out.

So convenient to our island stay, this cute little cafe sits on the water in an unassuming locale of Port Villa. Beautiful French/European ambience transports you beyond Vanuatu. Warm, authentic service and very good food. Loved our mains of fish and couscous but the sautéed vegetables as a side were just sensational. Great spot to just and while away some... More

Walked past Le Cafe du Village a number of times noticing the specials board before going in. I was sort of confused about entering a cafe through a walkway between a hairdresser & a Thai massage place but wow, what a great place when we finally entered. A little hidden treasure on the water facing Iririki island & the gorgeous... More

We stumbled upon Le Cafe Du Village on our last night and only wished we'd found it sooner. Such warm lovely service and the food was very very good. A big thank you to Wendy, Alice and Kela for making our time their memorable. Would love to go back!

Pretty courtyard entrance and lovely setting overlooking the harbour and Iririki island. Not feeling the best, my husband just had the seafood chowder which was nicely presented in a round, scooped out bread loaf and which he enjoyed. I had the small lobster dinner which was fine, a little chewy, but went down nicely with a glass of white wine.... More

We enjoyed a beautiful New Year's Eve dinner here and our waiter Wendy was a delight. Our meals were so fresh and delicious... we both ordered seafood and were very impressed. Thanks for a lovely evening.

A friend and I were scouring the town for some coconut crabs, as we had never tried them before. This was one of few places that actually had them at that time, so we decided to dine here. We were immediately greeted by friendly wait staff and brought to a table and were well looked after. The dishes were all... More

The Mediterranean design, waterfront location and superb cuisine have earned Cafe du Village iconic status in Vanuatu. Just a few steps down a leafy passegway next to the Grand Hotel you will enter into a small coutyard of serenity with split level coral based terraces, vivid white ballustrates, high ceilings, and white louvre shutters. Our local staff are carefully selected for their friendliness and hospitality from the top resort hotels and international cruise lines. We offer a diverse choice of dishes to suit most palates, from our freshly caught fish and lobster (when available), our excellent local beef, to our popular sausage and mash and steak and kidney pie, but make sure you a leave a little space for one of our amazing desserts. With a perfect location, beautiful views over the harbour, breath taking sunsets and fabulous hospitality there is no better place in Port Vila to relax, enjoy and while away the day.
