The location ambiance staff and food make this a great place to eat in Port Vila. Right on the waters edge in a quiet intimate courtyard - lovely. The food was superb - spring rolls, fish, pasta - all delicious. The staff were very nice as well.

We were spoilt by the friendly waitress Alice who made us feel very welcome and served us an excellent meal. The atmosphere was great, our table was on the waterfront and I enjoyed the best meal during my stay in Port Vila.

We had dinner here recently with some family who were visiting. The meals were great and our waitress Alice was excellent - very attentive and polite, possibly the best waiter/waitress I have ever come across in Vila. The location on the water is also fantastic.

I had lunch. The food was not spectacular and would describe it as average. It is situated right new to the Grand Hotel. The staff were attentive and the service is quite. A pleasant outlook as you can watch the nearby resort or the boats going back and forth. There is free wifi. Not much else to report.

A delightful building with a waterfront seating option overlooking the harbour. Some of the guests had moored their yachts and come in for dinner. The service was great everyone is smiling and look happy. We were looked after by Monique who was delightful. We chose two very basic meals of fish and chips and hamburger with chips. The portions were... More

Once we had discovered this great little restaurant, it became our favourite place in Port Vila, and visited 3 times - and delighted each time. Service is friendly, food is fresh, coffee hits the spot, and location takes you away from the traffic, whilst still being in the heart of town. One of the better range of choices for vegetarians.... The Mediterranean design, waterfront location and superb cuisine have earned Cafe du Village iconic status in Vanuatu. Just a few steps down a leafy passegway next to the Grand Hotel you will enter into a small coutyard of serenity with split level coral based terraces, vivid white ballustrates, high ceilings, and white louvre shutters. Our local staff are carefully selected for their friendliness and hospitality from the top resort hotels and international cruise lines. We offer a diverse choice of dishes to suit most palates, from our freshly caught fish and lobster (when available), our excellent local beef, to our popular sausage and mash and steak and kidney pie, but make sure you a leave a little space for one of our amazing desserts. With a perfect location, beautiful views over the harbour, breath taking sunsets and fabulous hospitality there is no better place in Port Vila to relax, enjoy and while away the day.
