We had lunch here and it was really good. I had a steak and kidney pie that came with mash potato and mushy peas. it was really nice, the prawn bruschetta was also very good.

The location was great. Meal was exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend the muscles for a main meal and the Jaffa mousse or cremé brûlée for dessert. The staff are lovely and the service was impeccable. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great night and tasty meal.

This is by a long way the best food we have had as a family in Vanuatu. Beautiful setting, fantastic staff; Wendy could not have made us feel more welcome or do enough for us. We will be returning before we go home.

We headed into town for dinner tonight and happened to spot this lovely restaurant as we walked along the road. Lovely courtyard vibe, and even better out the back where we were delighted to be seated at a waterfront table as the sun was setting. Good kids menu (dinners and puddings were given the thumbs up by our two, even... More

The location service and ambiance were all perfect. We found the prices very reasonable for the quality of food. And the wine was excellant too, Pinot Gries Clifford Bay NZ.

Really enjoyed both meals that we had at Cafe du Village. Beautiful setting by the water, especially at sunset so make sure you go watch it there! Excellent food and service, I would definitely recommend a visit!

Had a wonderful dinner hosted by the delightful and friendly Wendy. The food is was great and the outdoor seaside ambience was very comfortable/charming as well. Wendy gladly answered our many questions about life in Vanuatu with a smile and great stories. It was a wonderful evening. The staff were also quick on their feet when they learned that one... More

After some not quite up to standard meals elsewhere, we rocked into The Cafe du Village and was pleasantly surprised to find our best meal so far in Vila! The Fettuccine with Prawns was to die for and the Chemoula Fish was lovely, finished with a brisk Sav Blanc. The staff were lovely and although we wanted to stay outside... More

Le Café du Village was recommended to us by a couple that we met on one of our tours. We weren't disappointed. The menu was varied and ranged from mid-range prices to more expensive options. We both selected the burger - the meat was amazing - so succulent, tender and with a really rich flavour. The outlook was lovely, overlooking... More

The Mediterranean design, waterfront location and superb cuisine have earned Cafe du Village iconic status in Vanuatu. Just a few steps down a leafy passegway next to the Grand Hotel you will enter into a small coutyard of serenity with split level coral based terraces, vivid white ballustrates, high ceilings, and white louvre shutters. Our local staff are carefully selected for their friendliness and hospitality from the top resort hotels and international cruise lines. We offer a diverse choice of dishes to suit most palates, from our freshly caught fish and lobster (when available), our excellent local beef, to our popular sausage and mash and steak and kidney pie, but make sure you a leave a little space for one of our amazing desserts. With a perfect location, beautiful views over the harbour, breath taking sunsets and fabulous hospitality there is no better place in Port Vila to relax, enjoy and while away the day.
