Great service. The lobster and the Coconut Carb were fantastic. It was such a great surprise on arrival. We loved it.

A beautiful setting beside the water was the setting for a lovely evening dinner. The food was delicious and was served by attentive staff. Not very busy but everything was as it should be. Save room for dessert!

Coconut crab on a table out over the water at Vila Chaumières was the most memorable meal from our honeymoon in Vanuatu 20 years ago. We came back for a week to celebrate 20 years and booked Vila Chaumières for our anniversary dinner. The ladies...prepared a special table for us (see pics) and we had an amazing meal of Coconut Crab in garlic sauce and coconut encrusted local prawns. So far the evening out at Vila Chaumières has been the highlight of both our 2 week long Vanuatu holidays - in 2000 and 2020! Apparently it is still the same chef who likely prepared both our meals there too!More

Despite the sour taste left in our mouths by the price and the owner, there was a very nice approach and friendly and welcoming staff. We spent too much precious time waiting for our food. The food was ok but we were stunned by the...price. We had the misfortune to meet the corpulent owner who, only too happily informed us that he had a ‘behind the scenes deal’ with all taxi drivers. ‘We give them a meal and a soft drink if they bring us customers!!’. The meal cost nearly $200 Australian dollars. 2 adults and 2 children for lunch. Pasta for three and a salad for one. The food was ok and the location was nice but not worth the money.. It was the one very low light of our trip. Awful greed, awful deception, awful betrayal of the locals. We tipped our driver $50 aus. I wish we hadn’t eaten at this pace and given him the $200 instead.More

Our group of 9 people came here for lunch. The was a short path with beautiful flowers before you reached the restaurant at the end. The restaurant sits right near the water and is very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place.

We had lunch in Vila Chaumieres restaurant. Our table was right next to the water, a lovely and peaceful location. We ordered our food then waited and waited. There were only two other people in the restaurant when we arrived so I cannot imagine why...there was such a long delay. Heaven knows what it would be like if they were busy. The food, when it eventually, arrived was good but not outstanding.More

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we didn't have to worry or think about anything. Every mouthful we ate, every drop we drank was fantastic. We left happier and more fulfilled than we have ever done before. Staff were adorable and...lovely from beginning to end. If we could give this place 20 out of 10, we would. Holly and TinaMore
