Right on the water, this cafe is very popular with the Australian and NZer expat community, who could be anywhere in the world. The coffee was good and strong, the breakfasts and juices were high quality. Best in Honiara.

It's a place that raises the standards of Honiara's cafes. The only downside, you can't pay with card, cash only.

Rather than suffer through another poor hotel breakfast, we found this clean bright and pleasant cafe for breakfast, and with a view! Good food and reasonably priced.

So happy to revisit breakwater and see that the standards of food and staff again excel. Food was good, coffee excellent. Very helpful friendly staff, beautiful setting. Amazing aircon, clean bathroom facilities. Excellent all round. Highly recommend!

The Breakwater Cafe is a great place to relax, have some good food and make sure you give their Smoothis a try ! The staff is very helpful and they offer a delicious selction of food and coffee too.

They have just a small number (3 or 4) of luxury apartments for long term rental and they are in high demand due to the location and the turnover of tenants is not high. There are no rooms or short term rentals available... More
