The restaurant is located between the ferry terminal and the Palau royal resort, and at night the road there is a bit dark. It's not on the way to anywhere - you have to get there on purpose. Ask around or take a taxi to get there. The place has a Japanese-esque feel to it, but it certainly is more... More

Everything is served at the same time. We tried to get the sashimi as a starter, but it did not work out. Enormous portions of very simple food served with the speed of lightning for a fair price. The fried fish was tuna which was fried so much it was quite dry and uninteresting. The salad had a strange taste,... More

This is an underrated restaurant! I got word of this place from another tourist. It is at the end of a long dead end road, right off some docks. But I loved the menu selection and prices. Great seafood!

We had a great experience and went back multiple times! The portions were huge and very reasonable. Beer was cheap and cold! Saw other tourist try the Fruit Bat Soup!

Although off the beaten track & uninspiring from the outside, this restaurant delivers delicious man-sized meals at a very reasonable price. Our local guide put us onto this one & we had the best meal at the lowest price on our last day! Shame we didnt know earlier! We had been told about the huge serves, so couples shared a... More

While on holidays in Malakal decided to go out and try the Carp Restaurant which was not particularly well advertised apart from the sign that we went pass while walking to the dive centre. Very pleasant air conditioned and quiet little restaurant. Along with the menu arrive a pda / laptop with photos of the menu options to help us... More

This is the best restaurant in Palau if you are a backpacker. The food is really nice and the portions abbundant. The value for money is great (considering how crazy expensive is Palau!) and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommended.

Our Best option in Palau, local seafood, Japan dishes, very good service and big portions. It s not easy to find it, the deco it s Japanish style, and the average price is 28$/2 pax. Free bananas at the end!

This place is a hidden gem in palau for cuisine. It has a real local food at a very reasonable price. You will be surprised by its large size serve for such a low price compared to other places in palau. We loved their steamed mangrove crab, fish & vegetable soup, and saute cabbage. They all very tasty. One caveat.... More
