3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

came for lunch, a party of 4. A French bistro with black & white square floor tiles, posters on the walls. Felt like something out of the 1960's. Yes it's "authentic" but my wife couldn't eat her fried duck (too dry & salty), my tuna dish was just a large slab of very lightly grilled tuna, with a heavy gravy... More

Our lunch at Chez Toto was delicious. Our meals - caramelised veal and fish respectively were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was invitingly French with the walls decorated with French posters etc. we would recommend this restaurant if you were in the city of Nomea. Please make sure you check the opening hours as they are restricted to a couple... More

A group of 16 on a French Gourmet Food & Wine Tour lunched at Chef Christophe's - such beautiful food and atmosphere - like a little side street in Paris! The venison was mouth-watering!

Authentic french food in the heart of Noumea's Centre Ville. The a la carte menu caters for all tastes and they also offer daily specials and a multi-course "plat du jour" which is well worth considering. Service was friendly and helpful. We went in a large group and they coped really well. Everyone enjoyed their meals and price is reasonable.

What an ideal way to spend our last night in Noumea. The food was excellent, as was the service and surpassed any of the restaurants we tried at Anse Vatu

Every time we come to noumea we go to chez toto and never leave disappointed. The food is authentic French and so wonderful from the escargot, Mahi Mahi to the canard. We've booked again. Fabulous

We stumbled on this little bistro in Noumea's Latin Quarter by chance while wandering the streets looking for somewhere for dinner. Chez Toto was about half full when we arrived, with reserved labels on most of the vacant tables. Although we didn't have a booking, we were quickly shown to a table and had the menu and specials explained in... More

What a wonderful surprise to find this delicious French bistro in otherwise dismal downtown Noumea! My husband and I followed the suggestion of our Celebrity Solstice concierge for lunch at Chez Toto, a short walk from port. We started with a glass of chilled crisp champagne and duck pate with the best French bread I've eaten since Paris. We each... More

We had a wonderful lunch here. Authentic, very good French food in a relaxed bistro style venue. Get here early as fills up quickly.
